I can stay overnight if we go to the desert... I have a good air compressor now if you don't have the cash for one, and the manual pump for backup. I'm also trying to find a place that has a good price on the truxxx 3/2 lift because bottoming out sucks.
I took them the same day they were posted... I was trying to go fishing but the creek there was all dried up so I ended up just driving through the mountains. Tons of twisty roads with noone else on them (including cops) made the drive even more fun.
Just a thread for me to post pics to show where my Expedition has been.
This set of pics were taken in Tujunga, CA at the Tujunga national forest after it burned.
Edit: Make that pics of roadtrips and pics of having fun
Oct 15 will probably be good for me.
After I washed my car from last time is was covered in scratches especially on the passenger side which made me a little sad but then I did a little test and luckly they come out with some waxing and polishing... still have some bad scratches on the rubber...
Yeah we should have taken more pics and video.. my camera takes really bad pictures and video even though its a 7 megapixel, I would have gotten better quality with my cell phone. Plus my windsheild being tinted and dusty didn't help. I have 2 vids of nvycrmn but nothing too exciting happens...
Yeah there are others that have high mileage in the 400k range, but really not that many.. especially Expeditions. I think any car/truck that lasts over 300,000 miles has bragging rights. I wonder if in the future they will build engines so that they practically never wear out?
Do not get the monroe flex, they aren't as good as the rancho's so I don't think you'll be happy with them. The Bilsteins are a good shock and have a lifetime warranty.

I just can't find the place where to push them on though. Do you push them on once you've put the grill pack in place? I painted my grill and then ended up driving 120 miles on the freeway with no clips on the grill and it seemed to do just fine.
Are the clips supposed to come all the way off, I'm thinking not? I'm holding 8 clips in my hand right now and not really sure how I'm going to get the clips back on.
What year do you have? It looks like a 03-04.
My 03 doesn't have a physical redline, but it shifts at 4900rpms and that's with a tune. There's no power in the Expedition's V8 above 5,000 rpms so there's no need to go above that. I've never been able to chirp my tires even when it was new, but...
Although many aftermarket exhaust company's claim to add horsepower, mostly an aftermarket exhaust will only affect the sound. Even if you do manage a gain any hp, it would only be on the high end of acceleration, and in return you lose some low end acceleration.
So if an Expedition will go 400k miles that means mine is just getting warmed up at 130K... KevyKev I think you are the winner for the most miles.. I know for mercedes the dealerships give out badges for high mileage that you can put on your grill saying how many miles you've gone. Ford should...
Well I'm back in SD and ready for anderson... I might bring my mountain bike too. I have every other Friday off if you want to try to go on a Friday, other then that I'll only be available on the weekends or holidays. Are we still going to try for Labor day weekend?
I think I remember reading somewhere that a 16" rim will rub some part of the brake components on 03+ expeditions and that's why the 03 came with 17" stock wheels. Is this true? On a related topic, I know 33" tires will rub on a stock 03 2WD, but I should be able to fit 33's without a lift on...
I'm looking for mud tires to put on some cheap rims and run at places like azusa and then I'll throw my A/T's back on once I'm finished playing. Since I have 2WD, would I benefit from having mud tires on the front also, or will A/T's be ok for the front?
