    cold heat

    I live in Cincinnati, Oh and also have a 98 EB 4x4 and when it gets real cold outside my heat fluctuates. Step on the gas and it gets cool. Fluid levels are fine. I was thinking of replacing the thermostate.

    I bought my 98 in May 04 and both mirrors were peeling. I talked to the Ford dealer that I bought it from and they replaced both mirrors with Muth ones for free. Nice and clear now, but, they viabrate when you drive. I guess that's what you get with aftermarket stuff.

    230hp vs 260hp

    Does anyone know what Ford did in 99 to increase the hp of the 5.4 from 230hp to 260hp? I'm hoping that it's bolt-on and not internal.
