What could it be then? Could be the muffler itself? I don't want to start drilling into my cats and testing them just yet. It runs fine it just sounds not as loud and I'm not getting as much flow
I'm confused. Before this happened my flowmaster sounded like a flowmaster now it just sounds like a stock exhaust. I just bought this expy two weeks ago. Yesterday it sounded like the noise level dropped. That dude who checked it said I needed them yada yada. I'm going to get a second opinion...
Yesterday my flowmaster stopped being a flowmaster. It got a little quieter and today I took it to a muff shop and they said I needed cats and that it would cost 1500. Has anyone else had this problem?
I have a 2000 expedition xlt 5.4 4x4
This is irrelevant to lifts but today something strange happened to my flowmaster. I was driving back from work in another city and at that time I could actually hear my muffler but ever since I got back into town it has gotten quieter. It's worrying me lol. I don't know if its in my was, what...
The gap guards are pieces that go inside the wheel wells to prevent any debris from getting through, correct?
I'm going to go with a 3" body lift for now to hold me over for now. I'll post a pic of mine and post follow ups to show how it is coming.
Do you know if the stock rim size on my...
It wouldn't kill me to hold off on speedo calibrator, right? Im kinda wanting that lift. And yes I do have a 2000 expo. Originally my dad was going to give me a set of his Yokohama all terrains to hold me over until I can afford new ones, but the set he was going to give me were 35 and 5/8...
Okay this is what got so far:
Speedo calibrator I found online for 207
K&N cold air intake
HID projector headlights
3" body lift with 2" coil spacers
35" all season tires, brand depending
Thats the order in which I'm going to perform the mods too
Do I have everything right or close to?
Yes I have the power pedal option. Do you make things similar to the superchip for the expo as they do for the f250 powerstroke? Is that how I would recalibrate the speedo? Im sorry for all the question I just want to find out as much as I can
Thanks again, how much do those procomps run and about what would it cost just to lift it for the parts only? Could it be done without going to a body shop? Do you have any pics of your expedition that you wouldn't mind posting for me to get an idea of how it would turn out
Thanks if it takes a great deal Of work to jump to 36" then what would be needed to atleast set to a 33". Would you recommend a 3" body lift? I am not familiar with back spacing and those terms, what does that mean?
I'm new to the forum and have just recently bought a 2000 expedition 4x4 xlt. This is my first 4x4 and I had a few questions. First off, I wanted to put 36" tires on it so would a 3 in lift provide enough clearance without rubbing? Would a suspension or body lift be suitable? I'm not doing too...
