LOL... Was curious if she was of driving age yet since she is driving off road. :) You can see the front tire is kicking up some dirt!

    Gem Module

Does not sound like gem issue to me. With gem issues circuits come on randomly when they are not turned on or even when the ignition is off. I would suspect fuse. Not sure how you are using the test light. Are you able to check line and load side of fuse? Since its an aftermarket radio who...

    Used 2013 Expy-Extended Warranty Worthwhile?

If you had that amount and put it in savings you could use it if necessary and it earns interest. As long as the total amount of repairs fall under the $1715 you make out and that money is still yours. Over that and you get the picture....... lol.

    Used 2013 Expy-Extended Warranty Worthwhile?

It's basically a $1,715 insurance policy which you will have to pay $50 per visit. Drivetrain includes engine, transmission, transfer case, differential etc. So it's basically is covering the rest non-powertrain related high dollar electronics, power windows, etc.. If you think you may...

    Engine swap on expedition

As I understand it.. Romeo, windsor, aluminum block does not really matter. Same bolt patterns, bore spacing, etc... They are essentially the same in function. PI windsor heads vs romeo vary slightly in that the romeo has cam girdles and they use different valve covers. Otherwise they are...

    Go Pro mount works.

When I have installed my Go-pro outside the vehicle I would tether it to the inside just in case the suction cup failed. Looks like it may be a bit overkill.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASj5b-4l5Kc Broke her back!

what is your expy ridding on

Goodyear assurance tripletred 265/70-16's. One size larger than stock...lol. Only because they do not sell that particular tire in stock size. Street meats. Don't think they would do well in the mud but never tried. Good on the asphalt and in the rain. :) 3.55's LS Sorry.... not lifted...

Here's something you don't see everyday..

Does not flow with the AWD theme. AWD donuts are far more rarely seen than rear wheel drive. But someone is abusing a very expensive exotic!! I am of course referring to driving it on a wet dirty road... lol. I will give you that! :)

    Anyone on corn

Wish mine was flex fuel... E85 is like a poor mans race gas in boosted applications. Can get much more aggressive with the tune and/or boost.
  20. toms89

    Anyone on corn

Yes the pcm recognizes when you run E85 and adjust tune for it. Different timing and air/fuel ratios used for each fuel or combination thereof.

Anyone know what this is for?

Sensor is likely fine. The connector does not have enough wire left to splice or work with. Don't know if new connector will come wire pigtails or not. Maybe you can get one from the scrap yard, cut an leave the wires long. I would use electrical crimps and head shrink tubing on each wire...

Anyone know what this is for?

New connector and splice the wires. If the pcm loses track of the cranks relative position to the cams it may not run at all. This potentially may happen if you reset the pcm or disconnect the battery. The pcm uses these two sensors to time the injectors and ignition. Again the crank...

    255/75r17 too narrow?

I would have to see them side by side to answer. Like you said though... the 255's/75r17's will likely look taller and narrower since they actually are.
  24. toms89

    255/75r17 too narrow?

    265/70R17 Diameter = 31.6" Width = 10.43" Wheel = 17" Sidewall = 7.3" Circumference = 99.2" Revs/Mile = 638.4 255/75R17 Diameter = 32.1" Width = 10.04" Wheel = 17"Sidewall = 7.53" Circumference = 100.7" Revs/Mile = 629.4 Your speedo will read 1.4% too low according to the revs per mile...

    255/75r17 too narrow?

Doubtful... most members go larger if anything. Compare them side by side in the tire store if the have both sizes.
