I have driven a few ecoboost f150 trucks and I wish they put it into the expeditions earlier. It has a ton of power and torque and dosent feel underpowered at all. And the MPG would be so much better.
get someone to sit in the car with a flash light and take a hose and run water on the outside start low and work your way up till they see water drip in.
you could look into a P metric tire with a XL load rating or a LT tire with a D load rating both would help with towing the trailer and not be as harsh with out a load.
what you are pointing at is a heater hose. if it looks like oil is coming out of it maybe you need to replace your antifreeze. it can turn brown or black if its really old.

the 255/70/r18 on the 07 08 and 09 expys and the 275/65/r18 on the newer expys are the same hight (both 18" sizes) and load range but a little shorter than the 20s. switching to the 18s from the 20s will work just fine. I went the other way 18s to 20s and I like the ride on the 20s better...
the paint issues are usually found in areas that use salt or brine on the roads to melt snow ant ice. it makes the aluminum hood and rear hatch corrode then bubble the paint.
