I used to have a clunk on bumps, ended up being that my sway bar wasn't bolted to each side, it was kinda just hanging there and was free to rotate. They never bolted it back up proper after fixing some brake lines in that area
Thanks guys, and ross there's no way my truck could ever make it down to va in one piece lol. The 26's are lucky to make it to work and back in one piece. And I have a few ideas for more screens I wanna do but I gotta put up pics of my projector setup for you guys to see....51" piece of lexan...
hey guys so i just finsihed up my ipad install last week and can honestly say it was worth every bit of effort. I'm in the process of putting all the pics up in an album on my page but heres a pic and a vid of it in action...
So I was reinstalling my front seatbelt pillars and I noticed a problem, seemed to be a flaw in ford's design. The seat belt is held tight against the metal pillar but it runs on top of a few wires that also lead into that pillar (looked like they were the wires that head into the rear doors for...
I'm looking to get some seat covers for my 98, something simple like all black leather or fake leather. It'll be more for looks than anything since I just finished changing my entire interior to black and the only parts left are the steering wheel and seats. Anybody know of any good places to...
The ipad is fully removable, takes like 20 seconds. And yeah I've done a ton since I updated my pics, all the pics are on my phone but for some reason I can't upload them unless I'm on a computer. It all has to be done by tonight since move in day for world of wheels is tomorrow, so I'll try to...
I'll reply to the message when I get home since it'd be too much to type on a phone. As far as the frosted effect you're looking for, I just finished making a 50" projector screen and the screen is frosted 1/4" lexan. I made it frosted with a type of tint made for showers and it looks...
If it were up to me I would've bought a 2wd, but the truck was already in the family. It's not like I had bought a 4wd with the intention of lowering it, just working with what I have
Just don't go to town fair tire, somehow they managed to order me 3 5 lug 26's and a 6 lug for a chevy.....and of course the 6 lug was the final wheel to be installed, then they acted like it wasn't their fault
I had a similar problem putting one piece ebay projectors in my friends f150, there was little metal clips helping hold the clear lens on the front and these were making it too wide for the hole....ripped them off and it slid in perfect, no leaks or anything either. It also helps to get the...
Lol I only lowered it because the wheel gap looked horrible on big rims. And with how big these trucks are, my lowered height still has more ground clearance than most vehicles
What is the sound like, my truck has been making a sound for a few years now and the ac doesn't work....someone once mentioned the sound could be the ac compressor but I never cared enough to even look into it
I'll try the oil change then, seeing as its probably the easiest thing to try. Lol and as much as I do love the lifted expo's on here, I still prefer the low look
So the oil change fixed it? I usually do oil changes myself but I had a local place do my last one since I don't have a garage and it was the middle of winter....that could be my problem
I just personally always liked the lowered look better, its all just personal preference. Plus my 4wd hadn't worked in a long time so it wasn't a big loss
