    HeadLights

Pop the hood, pull up on the two tabs above the headlight, pull the headlights forward out of the truck, adjust the nuts on the 3 posts, reinstall/test, repeat as necessary.

My 2000 XLT has the manual controls (knobs) and I have to say I honestly prefer them.

Put on some cheap ebay flares

Looks great, Tony. I have the exact same flares (I know I told you about them when you were considering them). Anyway, sounds like you really lucked out with the fitment. I think I might have to pull mine off and reinstall them; mine don't fit nearly as perfectly. I can't believe yours...

    Speedo...

I did some quick math for you... You went from a 30" tire to a 33" (roughly). This is a 10% increase in size; therefore, your speedo is now off by 10%. Whatever speed it displays, add 10% to that.

FRK, I've still got the mirror. Just give me your zip code and I can get you a shipping estimate. Thermo, thanks for telling him how to do it.

Sub and Amp Set Up for Country Music

A single 10" subwoofer in a sealed box would be just fine for what you are looking for. I'd expect you'd need around .5" to 1.5" cubic feet in the box. 300 to 600 watts should be plenty. Let me know if you need anymore advice.

    Sealed or vented sub box?

I've got a sealed box that fits 2 12s behind the third row perfectly. I'm selling it, as I now have a different set up with a single 10. Let me know if you are interested in buying it.

    seriously whos idea was this

Thanks, panda. I'm looking forward to them. If its cheap/easy to do the relocation, I just might do it. It is always a pain to get the oil wrench up there around the can.

    seriously whos idea was this

I gotta see some pics. Mine is on the driver's side of the engine, right above most of the suspension. I've never heard that other Expeditions had them located differently. Also, who's done a relocation? Pics?

    Rim Width

Also, the more sidewall the tire has, the bigger the acceptable range in most cases. No chart or tire shop will tell you that, but it is definitely the case.

    Simple tips

And for the record, I always come to a complete stop before shifting. And I always turn everything off (wipers, radio, lights, A/C, heat, etc) when shutting off or turning on the truck (thanks OCD!, lol). I'm glad to know I'm doing things correctly. It's good to hear that every once and a...
