The locking hub actuator is the circular thing that is currently covered with metal tape in my pic. There are 2 hoses attached to them up on top. (I have temporarily removed my half shafts for the moment)...
The actuators works like this..
If a vacuum is present, it pulls the gears away...
probably the IWE solenoid needs replacing... Can you lift the vehicle so all four wheels are off the ground? If so, does all 4 wheels spin while in 2WD mode? If so.. You got a vacuum leak that is allowing the hub actuators to engage..

Hmmm... My MPG always sucked... Alot of stop and go traffic here on the island.. Plus, having a heavy foot, my daily MPG always hovers around 8mpg..
It rolls alot when I have the sway links removed. When I have them on, she feels solid..
When I hit speeds over 60, notice alot more...
It may cost a tad more... But another option is to get an adjustable coilover.. I think you can add possibly another 2 more inches with these before your spindle starts hitting the coils... (speculating here...)
2.5s.. I need to have a local installer help me out with fabercating a mounting bracket for the remotes... (Rize said Radflo didnt have brackets for this model).
