Like the title says I have a stock sub/amp/box for sale that came out of my '99 EB. Worked very well and is in perfect condition. I will post pics tonight.
Yeah I think I might have to remove the inner passenger fender well to get the straight shot to the frame I want. It just seems a littel too close for comfort to the exhaust manifold anyway other than that.
Ok got a question for people that have run power from the front to the back in a Gen 1. Where did you run your power wire? Through the firewall, down the fender into the door jamb? Under the firewall following the frame rail? I cant decide where I want to do it and I am doing a few runs of...
To my knowledge no there was never an OEM camera on the first gen Expos. And they can be as easy or has hard as you want to make them to be. Wireless licence plate versions, wired bolt on bumper, replace key tubler bullet camera (like I did) or the fancy 3rd brake light version (realy...
Spent some time tonight working on the system finally. Got the cap and distro block in amps are wired and speaker wire is run other than 2 doors. Only think left Is power from the front and to finally mount the subs.
Thats kinda the overkill version wire harness for your truck. There is a cheaper version (about half the price) that doesnt have the gain control box on it. Most dont need it as you can do taht on just about anydeck these days.
Sorry, what id does it plugs into teh vehicale exsisting wire...
They have no bearing on the Head Unit. I have a 99 with Mach Audio. There is a 4ch amp and a sub/amp. The speakers are actually not bad and sealed. Just make sure you get the right wiring harness and hopfully you can peice together the butchered wiring
And yes the Double din will fit just...

JTK what shocks did you get with the kit? Or did you just get the springs?
Yes they do work if cut all the way through. Frankly I dont know why they can fail if cut too close to the sides. Frankly I dont care. I was told to stay at least 2 " from the side so I do and I have never had one fail on me.
Your more than welcome to bypass the thermostat given that's...
Your going to need a bypass PKFM will work well http://www.xpresskit.com/product.aspx?productid=202

The cut edges leave exposed wires, these carbores can ground out on metal and or work their way through the seat cover and give you a nice little shock.
The parts you cut out need to be done soe VERY carefully you might have snipped the holes in the middle jsut a tad too big. Also the holes need to be tapped off with electrical tape. I have done alot of these and rendering a heating pad usless can be the difference of 1/8".

The fenders on the gen 1 are stagered in height. The come stagered like taht so that the rake thats built in equals a matching gap. With the rear fender is lower and the rake it hides the rake somewhat visually. This is mine after my 3x3 drop. Mine is a 99 2wd 4.6 EB
