If the PMT arms don't come with new bolts you should probably go buy some from Canadian Tire or what ever retailer around that has a good bolts bin. Good luck, there is quite a bit of information on the ford trucks forum. I replaced nearly every part and bushing on my rear suspension and it...
We had those on our MRAPs in Iraq (called a DVE). They worked ok but it was very easy to lose perspective of where you were at. My drivers didn't mind using them and it definitely saved our a$$e$ a couple of times when we spotted EFPs that were holding heat just after sundown.
There are a couple, I just saw a member's photo album yesterday but can't remember who it was. The used the stock bumper and mounted the winch tray inside the bumper in between the frame rails. It looks really slick. I'm sure whoever did it will chime in soon enough.
My 97 hasn't had a problem getting anywhere that I wanted it to go yet. I was very surprised at the off road capability. 4 low works great and the rear axle is nearly bullet proof.
I have a better feeling about my coil spacers being on the top. Not sure why, maybe I read it somewhere a while back when I was doing my research. Also, there is no way to align the rear end of a 1st gen Expy since they have a solid rear axle. If you do a torsion twist in the front you might...
I have a Flowmaster 44 that is very tame, my kids and more importantly my wife haven't complained about it. And I took the whole family out for a weekend camping trip.
I am a GM guy that happens to own a Ford and I love that but would never pay the kind of money that guy is asking. Anybody notice that he didn't list the mileage. I bet that thing has been run hard and put away wet. The parts list is impressive but anything over 18 grand for that truck is to...
Sure you can, you just need a forklift to get your heavy rim and tire up there. :joke:
I know my basket could hold them, but can you heave one up there without hurting yourself?
So by importing this forum to the original, we will go back to our old profiles on EF.com? Sorry if that is a stupid question but I don't know what all will be involved in the switch.
There are kits that you can buy to convert your air suspension to a normal shock. Not sure if that is what you want to do, but if you end up needing to replace everything it will be your cheapest route in the long run.

The biggest difference will be the signal to noise ratio, power efficiency and the actual power. Most cheap amps won't actually put out the power that they are supposed to. I have never bought a cheap amp since I have seen so many blow when they are run hard. I had a PPI PC250 (50X2) and I...
You will want to take your expy to a local exhaust shop to see if they will cut your rear cats off and put some straight pipe in. But your cats are probably good for quite a while yet. My expy has 173,000 miles and I haven't had any problems, and I just had a flowmaster 44 with duals welded up.
