Yes they will both work, but the 9 inch rim might look a little weird with a 265. IMO I would just buy the rims that were the better deal, so if it ended up being a 17x9 then so what. You will use what you have then buy some that will fit better once your current tires are worn out.
172,000 and it is rising VERY slowly. I have only put 2500 miles on it since I bought it in January because I have put 10,000 miles on my bike so far this year.
12 mpg vs. 40 mpg, it is a pretty easy choice.
That is what makes me really happy about the Falkens, they don't drone at all. All I hear is wind noise right now. I won't mind if I can hear some exhaust drone, but I definitely don't want to hear it over my stereo.
The easiest thing to do would be to measure the shock when you pull them off and post some pics. They should be plenty strong enough since they are coming off a 3/4 ton truck, the biggest issue (if any) will be the length and the way they mount.
Ok, I bought a Flowmaster 44 series delta flow (single in dual out 2.5 inch), 2.5 inch Y pipe, and 2 stainless rolled edge slash cut tips. I just need to find an exhaust shop that won't bend me over to weld up a couple sticks of 2.5 inch pipe. So it will be almost a true dual setup, I just...
I used the stock height shocks due to the retailers advise. I have 2'' spacers in the rear and torsion twist about 3'' higher in the front. I was gonna buy the 4'' lift shocks and they told me to stick with the stock size.
These are what I bought and I love em'!

What pipe diameter should I go with? I am leaning towards 2.5 but I want to maximize low end torque, so would 2.25 be a better choice?

Not sure yet, but either way it will have to tuck in close to the body. I hate it when I see exhaust tips hanging low like they are just waiting to drag on something. I actually want them at more of a downward angle than the pic that I posted. So the pipe side would be a couple inches higher...
Damn if had known that I would be rocking a 4x4 after coming back home I would have snagged a couple of these.

Looks great.
For your other two wheels you can try using 1/4 or even 1/8 inch masking tape to help get around the edges easier. Then use the full inch tape to cover after that.
Edit: damn just saw that you already did the other two. Oh well, maybe someone will find it useful.
My wife gave me the ok to get a new exhaust on the expy. The only catch was she made me pick between the new headlights/HID's and the exhaust. It is almost summer and won't get dark till 9 pm................... "ummmmmm I'll take the exhaust" So here is my plan:
2 single in/out 2.5 inch...
It looks like you are fairly level, but it could be an inch or so different. That shouldn't be the reason people are flashing high beams at you. I bet your headlights need an adjustment. They are probably pointed to high, so just park on level ground about 10 feet from a completely flat wall...
I got everything for mine for around $200, so it will be plenty cheap. The opening beer bottles with your teeth part look is up to you. I think it looks tough, but some people might mistake it for a tree hugger's yakima.
