Using leather cleaner and conditioner. Meguiar’s is my favorite. I have to do this a minimum of 1x per month. Staying on top of it makes it easier.
I’ve seen where people use no-name leather cleaner that dyed a customers leather blue. Ugh! What a mess.
I love the ebony interior, headliner is black also. To me, it’s not too dark. Living in Arizona we have an abundance of sunshine!
Our F150’s both have tan interior and the interior seems too light. Especially with lighter interior leather our jeans discolor the leather and having to clean...
Lol, it’s my wrists. . I broke both in February skiing. Had surgery early in March, then rebroke wrist 10 days ago. So I’m down to one cast (right hand and yep, I’m right handed.).
I must admit with my temporary handicap, my Expedition makes driving so much easier. It’s so much easier than...
Hubby never considered a 3rd gen. My sister has one and my sister-in-law has a 2nd gen. Hubby wanted to upgrade from Explorer for size of our growing boys and since it is basically the interior size of a F150 + another row- it was a no-brainer. We have a 2018 F150 and he loves the 10-speed...
I absolutely can! Right now she needs a bath, but I can send some. I am in a cast until end of April so it may be a few weeks before she is clean again.
There are a ton of local places that specialize in wheel repair. Our Explorer Sport had 2 tone rims and the curb was hit multiple times. Yet no one owned up to it. It may be beneficial to see who your dealer uses. We have a few wheel guys that we use, but always check their Yelp reviews.
That is correct. We have both the Expedition and F150 and side by side you can tell the obvious difference. We love both blues for different reasons.
We two toned the truck with silver, super cool.
Driving around town it is 20.1 and when I am going uphill to the white mountains- that trip is usually 22 (average). I am horrible where I like to remote start my car now that the temps are in the 90's here. I want the a/c running and to cool it down. Maybe once we hit our extreme heat things...
cannot believe that it’s time for first LOF. We have put some serious mileage on Mad Max in only 4 months. Our only gripe was 1 time the screen flashed that the trailer was connected/disconnected. Hasn’t happened since, so not sure if had to do with the minor accident. Our family still loves...
Just to add to the Raptor comment, the new ecoboost engine in the Raptor out performed the V8 Raptor. My boss has both- V8 and the ecoboost Raptors (one is his and the other he bought for the kid) and the Eco is much better and quite a fit faster too.
I will post a photo later. I ended up with 2 reversible mats. My hubby ordered ours with it, however when I saw it I didn't think it was really the mat. Later when the dealer mailed a reversible mat then it dawned on me what it was. I am not impressed with it. I see where it is reversible...
The Explorers had a TSB issued to impacted customers to have a special coating added to the under carriage of the car. Different owners experienced different levels. My former had 2 exhaust pipes. Additionally after my auto accident, the entire system was replaced-didn't change the amount of...
I have found one of the best places for extended service warranties is Flood Ford in RI. You do not have to purchase a Ford ESP at the time of sale. You have 3/36 whichever comes first to purchase it. There are different levels to the ESP. I personally prefer the Premium Care. At the time...
I activated mine too. Basically the signal of the Expedition matched the same as my cell service. My phones are Verizon and everyone knows the Expedition has AT&T. I can’t say one is better than the other, but it was convenient.
Pinetop Arizona. Went skiing and it was 1 degree. Bad part is I broke my wrist. Family washed my car for me.
Sunrise had 6 inches on Friday night. Our friends brought their Tundra, 2014... what a gas guzzler, so happy with performance of our car.
I had a 2014 Sport, it averaged 17-18 mpg. My Expedition at its worst is 17.2 all uphill against wind in snow. I’m not sure if it’s between 10 speed transmission or the way it’s tuned (Ecoboost). There is a debate if I kept my foot in it.
The new owners of the Explorer aren’t getting 15...
You are welcome!
Want to drive to AZ to buy a car? Lol, seriously there are dealerships that want to sell volume and are willing to drop the price. They are harder to find but they are out there.
A plan is Ford employees, D plan is employees of dealerships. Since I work at Lincoln, my pin must have the truck in my name as primary or secondary. (I’m assuming title since I didn’t finance). I want to say 6 months or so, I can check by generating a pin.
X-plan doesn’t have restrictions...
