To track mpg, I’ve left it in normal mode and my mpg combined has stayed consistent. I’m thrilled with the Expedition, great room, everything. My only complaint was parts on back order, but that’s resolved
May I ask ages of kids? Are they in car seats? My sister has an Expedition EL too. Her kids are 7, 5 and twins are almost 4. We both have captain chairs, which she finds beneficial as it’s easier to get to the kids in the 3rd row. All of her kids are in car seats too.
With older kids it is...
If it helps the blue metallic picks up tones of grey. When our skies are overcast, Mad Max looks more grey but in sunlight she definitely looks blue. I have heard one person make a comment that they saw green, I haven’t seen it but who knows.
If you are ready for change go down the white...
I’m not a fan of white cars personally. I love color.
My 2018 Expedition is blue metallic
My 2018 F150 is blue jean / silver
My 2015 Mustang GT is blue/ black convertible
My 2015 f-150 is bronzefire/ caribou
My 2015 Challenger is sublime green
White is common in Arizona, too common. I had...
Ok, wheel locks purchased! $45 well spent. Fits Ford and Lincoln. Peace of mind! Haven’t had time to install, maybe tomorrow. Mad Max has been a garage Queen this week, had to get the F-150’s in for service.
While speaking with Service (at Lincoln) there are claims that Home Link...
I will find out later today. I ordered some, they arrived at the dealership yesterday. I will talk to the Parts Manager and inquire about the patterns. It is just repulsive that anyone would steal wheels, but I know it happens with badging, wheels and whatever else people deem fitting.
i had seen on a social media site, where a 2018 Navigator had the wheels/tires stolen off the Navigator. The dealer had performed a PDI, and the new owner hadn’t taken delivery. Overnight the wheels were stolen. I suspect it was an inside job, however it prompted me to buy wheel locks to...
I have it on video. I’ve spoken with Service Director and plan on stopping in later this week. When we spoke on the phone this wasn’t anything he said he’s heard of before. I’ll let you know what the outcome is.
Seriously? That sucks! I still have my temp tags on my car. I received my plate so I can put it on, especially now that it’s broken in. Ugh, makes me so mad. But as you pointed out it could be worse....
All I can say is that guys lucky I called my hubby...
For his safety. My crazy side was about to come out...lol. So, I’ll keep you posted, but we added a tow hitch for the time being....so if someone else tries to hit me, it will take out their car.
I agree about the F150, I’m going to take it in due to a towing error message that it throws. Saying trailer connected and disconnected as we are towing down the road....
He drove the 2015 but we have a 2018 too.
He did the math too - because our mileage was that high.
Since getting home I made the mistake of taking it to a car wash and it was hit by an old goat. . Just called his insurance company...sigh. Good news is body shop thought it was under...
I filled up at Maverick in the White Mountains, and while driving on the 260 about an hour into it, I started checking the fuel, since there was a heavy police presence, I had to watch my lead foot. I used the cruise control for a short time...I went up to 95 mpg to pass but kept her about 5...
Just got back and I did 28 mpg until the highway closed for 30 minutes for a funeral. So by the time we got home 26 mpg which isn’t bad at all! When I was going 75 mph I was under 2k rpm and hubbys truck was 2500. I’m thinking that 10 speed transmission makes a difference!
3-1/2 hours.... 177 miles. We have to go slow through the small towns. I have 2k miles on it. So safe to say she is broken in. Also our trip was up hill mostly. So on the way back, can’t wait to see that gas mileage.
