Well the first question would be, is it a 4WD truck?
Those model years don;t have a 2HI option, do they? Isn't it A4WD all the time with the option to shift to 4HI or 4Lo?
If so, I would check the inflation and condition of your tires. SOunds like maybe the A4WD is trying to kick in...
I don't see why you couldn't get tremendous mileage out of today's modern vehicles WITH PROPER MAINTENANCE. :) 200K should be no problem. Heck, I got that out of my 96 DODGE Grand Caravan! (And it is still on the road!)
75K is nothing really provided the truck has been taken care of and the...
When the Check Engine light came on, what code did it set in the PCM??
Just curious, but why would you replace all that other stuff if just the COP and plug needed replaced?
Itcould be a muther to track down the miss as you'll have ot back track through all those replaced parts and check...
Daystar has a 2" spring spacer kit for a round $249.00. It'll lift the whole truck 2".

Manual have knobs that control temp & fan speed. The auto controls have buttons. :)
Here's the manual ones.
Here's the auto
The knobs on the center console control the rear air. The auto HVAC controls are below the radio. :)
What do you mean "not working consistently"?
Does it intermittently blow cold air?
If so, check your R143A level & pressure.
Does the compressor only kick on intermittently?
Check the connections or replace the compressor. Although low refrigerant can cause it to do the same thing...
I think there was a server screwup. My response is not to your thread either.
It was to his that (I think) was it's own thread.
Anyhoo...WELCOME! Make sure you check out the forums at www.ford-trucks.com, too! :D
Sometimes those switches need to be cleaned.
You can pull the switch and clean the contacts to see if that could be the culprit.
Does your truck send power to the front wheels in A4WD like it should?
What for this time?
Buy ceramics. They are now readily available and cost less than $70.00 Change them yourself. It is worth the effort and cost!
Either find a new dealer of have the pnme you use now find the TSB concerning it. THERE IS ONE! :D It is a relatively easy fix.
Open or closed...
Just make sure it meets Mercon specs.
I wouldn't worry about using synthetic. Transmissions aren't like engines.
In fact, the snythetic may help extend the life of the tranny. :)
Paint the pipe black then! :) That's what I do to all my trucks. I don't know why I started doing it... :p but all my trucks get the visible pipe painted flat black. (I use heat resistant paint)
Guess it makes the chrome tip stand out more...
However...
That body side cladding is already painted. You will not be able to use the method I did. You'll have to see a body or paint shop to help ya out.
I'd probably say in the $400-600 range. Lotsa masking to do...
What build did you get? A, B, C or later??
Early 03s have a problem with the steering rack. It is a little unknown problem that dealers won't readily share with you.
If you are going over loose gravel the steering wheel wobbles and jumps. This shows a loose & problematic rack. Putting...
Pull the light out from the INSIDE corner. Then pull straight out.
It takes a little more than lossening that "vertical' adjustment bolt. It actually is a bolt that secures the light from behind and really does nothing to "adjust" the aim of the light.
Check those lights you got. There is...
