On my way to work, I noticed that when moving in gear (D) the aircon would progressively blow less air as rpms rose. The aircon would start to weaken as i reach 1.5k rpm and there would be no air at all from the aircon at about 2k rpm. The aircon would work fine anywhere under 1.5k rpm...
We were a Ford family from the beginning. Getting an Expedition was just expected. Haven't found anything that I would prefer to drive, except maybe the new Explorer.

thanks . . . have been following boiler71's Lightning swap thread. . . am thinking of doing the same (or trading in for the 2011 model). . . . maybe if i can put the needed parts together.
those are great looking 24's by the way
Wonder why the Lightning would need 2 sensors. It makes sense you'd get better readings from the intake runner.
Hope you don't mind the questions. I'm thinking of putting parts together to try a swap.

Hi to all. . .Long time Ford an here. . . Its great to find an active site dedicated to Expys!! I used to have a 2000 4.6L XLT which I sold to get a 2004 5.4L Expy. Aside from the relatively stiffer ride, I've no complaints with the 04. I also have a 2000 Lightning and hope to post some pics soon.
Great write up!! Did you need a new engine wiring harness for the swap? The Mad Enterprise site indicates that you need one, but your install seems to have eliminated the need.
