    30K mile preventative maintenance

Hey, fair enough, that's a decent deal. But an Excursion isn't really an SUV, that's a truck. Which also isn't produced anymore and is obviously a workhorse and a half.

    3rd row seats.

Somewhere accessible to the driver or front passenger would be probably be best. Maybe they'll add that in a mid gen refresh.

    30K mile preventative maintenance

How incredibly wasteful. But hey, it's your 3rd gen rig.

How strong is the load deck when all seats are folded down?

I'm pretty certain I've seen that specifically mentioned in multiple marketing materials (for the MAX).

How strong is the load deck when all seats are folded down?

And that's how you get on a list lol.

    Expy Production Increase

5.3 -> 6.2 -> and then this massive drop back to 2.3 lol. Are the V8s NA? Or can you get turbos on them?

    Expy Production Increase

I would assume they would be new engines if its a new generation. Although maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.

    Expy Production Increase

I'm very curious to see what the new gen of GMs looks like. I assume this Ford-GM transmission is gonna be in there. Wonder what the new power plants will be like.

    Expy Production Increase

Ooh that's good news. Means that they'll probably invest resources for a mid cycle refresh. Ones built after that will be great to buy used.

How much are you guys paying for brand new '19s?

Have you heard of x plan pricing? Besides which, there absolutely is wiggle room because the dealer has to do almost literally nothing and their sales number increase. They put in the order, it gets delivered, they unwrap it, prep it, and give you the keys. They don't need to sell it to you...

    2018 Expedition Reviews

Even so, I remember working on ferret armoured cars (saracen apcs too) and it only weighs like 7500 #s. Yet, here we have a luxury SUV that weighs even more that, with better armour. Crazy.

    Finally have a pic:)

You should post this over in the pics thread, it could always do with more! That's the Ruby Red right?

I don't see any attacks anywhere, but clearly you're seeing something I'm not. Clearly this topic has proved far too divisive to have a civil discourse and the thread seems to be straying a little off topic, so take care.

    New to this forum: Hola!

Hi all, New to the Expy forum (although I've been creeping for a while and have already posted). Don't have an Expedition yet, but was bowled over by the 4th gen when I first saw it, so I figured I'd start looking it up now and buy one in a few years (if I can make a strong case on it being...

I don't believe I did either, but ok. I also happen to be American and don't actually live in Canada so.... Anywhos, take care. Apart from when the melt comes and the potholes show up. Otherwise, its a fairly pleasant place!

    Fuel Economy?

What sorcery is this? Were you driving downhill, unloaded, on the highway?

How much are you guys paying for brand new '19s?

Sounds about the same as x-plan pricing. Now that's wild. What package is it?

    Rear window breaks

I know its only speculation, but what were the theories? Or do you have links to the threads in question?

Your use of buzzwords is interesting. Maybe look up what socialist means before using it. Clinton most certainly is not one. She's a centrist, if anything. Canada and Venezuela are also 2 countries that are wildly different, weird to see them compared. Also, no elaboration on that, am I meant...

The key part of this that is missing, is that it is armoured.

Your ignorance is astounding and your lack of understanding of the world around is a little disconcerting. While the average urban dweller may not care about zoning laws, the higher the population density of a particular area, the more important they become. Both the cities you mentioned...

Houston is abysmal from an urban planning perspective. If you're not at least middle class income and don't have your own vehicle, life is rough. Actually most of North America has terrible urban planning - at the human scale anyway. On a vehicular scale, different story.

2018+ Post Pictures Thread!- Lets see those shiny new trucks!

Took me a while to write this post, I was busy cleaning up slobber from my screen. That colour is fabulous on your truck and it helps that you've taken a great photo. Real talk though, I saw a white Expy earlier this morning and was just blown away by great it looked. They really are stunning...

Wireless charging option on 2018 Expedition

You're welcome! Don't take my word as gospel, but I have yet to see a mass produced longer range wireless charger. Now, in terms of having one for the top tray, that depends on how much space is behind the centre console, although not very much is needed. I imagine the easiest way might be to...

Wireless charging option on 2018 Expedition

Apparently you can now get wireless chargers that go up to 3 feet! But, back when I was more in touch with that side of tech developments, it's usually about 0.5-1 inches for most mass produced wireless chargers.
