I would want to keep my 21 Expedition Platinum but reading what all could go wrong with it makes me pause. This currently is my 4th Expedition. I extended my lease to wait for the 2024 models hoping that the mcs and other options would return to the vehicle. No mcs no Platinum as far as I am...
I had to repeatedly argue with the service manager at my dealer to get my recall done since I live in a townhome community with very close parking. Even with the letter from Ford authorizing PDL and a loaner for these situations were there was no outside place to park it away from other vehicles...
I share your pain with the "short" garage. A Max would fit albeit barely with no walk around room. I could relocate the water heater though. Hmmm. What is with the Raptor engine cover, why?
My '21 remote start requires you to first lock the doors then press the start button x 2. To stop, simply hit the start again. Maybe they have changed the procedure, maybe not.
I am sure there is are other vehicle brands with these options but probably a smaller suv will be required. Also, the Jeep Wagoneer comes to mind since you said price is no problem and is comparable in size to the Expedition. I find myself in the same predicament. I extended my 2021 lease hoping...
Thanks, that is good to know. I am looking for a set of these now for future winter trips up north. These summer type tires on the 22's are awful even on rain soaked roads.
Thank you for the replies, m3olsen! I can't say I prefer Sirius/XM since I have not tried Ford's new apps. I just prefer not to change what works fine now.
That is good to know especially in Florida with the many water incursions reported each year. I keep one of those window break out tools in all of our families vehicles.
Ohh, I had wondered what that tank was for under the hood. Silly me for thinking it was for engine cooling. That's why it was always warm after operation. So it's actually a brewer that is being pre-warmed for instant use. Also, that now means job one is a coffee break, a better idea. Now, if I...
This is why I don't want to own one outside of factory warranty. I am planning on buying mine off my lease as a certified used. Unless the auto market really changes soon. I do like getting a new vehicle every few years but at nearly 100K for an equal or better replacement at 6% or more now...
I can't seem to find where to set that function up yet but I keep scrolling through the pages. I finally get to the mcs controls but then I'm too relaxed to care or continue.
I can certainly feel the feedback in the steering wheel when I try to change lanes without using turn signals and also when driving in lane and closing in on the painted lane markings. It will "bump" the direction of travel away from edge of lane. If you are not getting this feedback something...
It takes a long time to break in these. All the moving parts with low miles on this vehicle is causing drag from the brakes rubbing the disc to the gearbox being so tight. The engine and the attached accessories is still factory tight all the way back to the differential. Take it on a long drive...
