    Our 2003 EB "Beater" ol

too bad about these. I had them on my last truck. Very good tire, quiet and offered excellent grip! Are you wanting to go wider and keep the same height?

have a look at the plastic fan shroud. This is where the grill will attach...

    Swap to newer front-end

I do believe it will bolt on. The concern I have is how much will be needed. I would suggest looking at an 07+ under the hood to see how they match up.

    Swap to newer front-end

If you search the 04 and 07 fenders, they do have different part numbers. Many on this forum are interested in doing the conversion but no one has yet to start it. If you take the plunge, post on your progress since you just might be the first...

    Which would you choose? (spacer)

one more thing, the 07 EL is stated to have 8.7 ground clearance. 03-06 models have 8.9. This should keep the comparison fairly accurate.

Are you doing all the seats or just the front? Did they quote a price?

    Which would you choose? (spacer)

For what its worth. I measured mine at 39.5 front and 38.5 rear on the 315 70 17s. These tires are roughly 2.5 taller than the stock 265 70 17.

after you lift it, measure your ground clearance from the bottom of the wheel wells and lets see how much lift you get.

    2007 4X4 Expedition harsh ride

Ah...the plot thickens! Maybe you should call Truxxx and ask them why they made that claim. Curious what their reasoning is. Oh and now you need to get 35's!

is that billet? I think it would be stronger as there are no welds.

07+ Front End Conversion on 03-06 Expedition ??

go for it and do a thorough writeup on it for us. I suspect it will bolt up but with hood, fenders etc, I think its going to be more than $1000 before paint. I want to convert mine as well but cant justify the cost unless I end up in a front end collision. Worst case if the parts dont bolt...

    Hi to all

assuming you are 4wd, you can get the torsion bar keys that will raise it 2 inches Link http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits-Suspensions-Shocks/Torsion-Bar-Key-Leveling-Kit.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=358&t_pt=9333&t_pl=7140&t_pn=DAYKF09120 Also you could go with a 3 inch body lift for less than $200...

    Wheel upgrade

Are you wanting to stick with the stock appearance or just getting a good deal on them?
  22. R

Look what I just got for $400 :)

even after shipping its still half price of the new one. That leaves just over $100 for paint. Not sure if I could have it powdercoated with the savings but still a good deal...for me anyway:p

Not a fuse problem. Not a relay problem. Battery problem?

do you know if its the original battery? If so 6 years is pretty old for a battery. here in Vegas most dont last more than 5 years tops. Anyway, good luck with it.

Not a fuse problem. Not a relay problem. Battery problem?

You can take the battery to Autozone or most other auto parts stores and they can check the battery to rule that out at no charge. Depending on how old it is, it may not want to hold a charge since it was drained. If you need a new battery I recommend an Optima Yellow top since you run...
