    Read my codes today and I got P0022 says it's camshaft position timing over-retarded in bank 2... Says the cause could be the VCT solenoid, which I will be changing both of on Monday afternoon, so far still driving fine with new oil and no CEL yet after clearing the codes. Will leave truck...

    Well, I found part of the problem. The expy had about 2.5-3 quarts of the trashy Firestone oil left in it and it was just a few hundred miles over the change mark. I drained it out and replaced with 7 quarts of Mobil 1 full synthetic and a Mobil 1 filter today myself. It sounds a bit better...

    Fixed the leaky rear glass issue somewhat by bending the pinch weld... After a test with a water bottle I'll need to do a bit more bending on that weld. Also cleaned out the drain holes on the rear driver's door so it no longer fills with a gallons of water in rain storms lol... Tomorrow is oil...

    Sounds very familiar... Common issue on these trucks I need to do a coil pack eventually to 100% solve the issue, I already did all 8 plugs... Really the only way to ditch the misfiring IMO is all 8 motorcraft plugs and all 8 motorcraft COPs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Thanks that's what I think I'm gonna do and I think it also won't solve my problem I just want to clean my gunked up VCT solenoids the best I can so replacing them in a week or a so isn't so hard and this will be a trend for me now as I don't believe I can trust anyone to do my oil changed...

    When I bought my 2006 it had the same issue... Was completely missing the fuse for it, replaced fuse and was fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
