Nice video, love that guy he's helped me do almost everything on the ford.... Really sounds like my issue with the way he explains it

I just about hate ford right now... More I read in other forums though the more I think there is a slight chance my problem could be as simple as bad VCT solenoids

Didn't really drop in RPMs so just knocking like that while in drive and stopped and it went away in park... My mechanic buddy owns a shop where they're done several cam phasers on the 5.4s and he says if I'm lucky it could be the two VCT solenoids and I should start there by changing the two of...
Update: after a little highway driving again I stopped at a red light and had the loud diesel sounds major shaking and this time I was waiting a bit longer and while in DRIVE the motor shut off....
I shifted it to park and started the engine again and was able to continue driving fine but I...
So today been driving the truck like normal all day and have had nothing out of ordinary happen (everything seemed fine) and I got off and exit and stopped at the red light (truck in drive) and while waiting there holding the brake the truck began to shake vigorously and make a loud knocking...
I'm a little late but yesterday my wheels came in... Couple more weeks to wait on my 35s but here they are! Can't wait to get them mounted

Mine was doing the exact same thing and in a matter of days my alternator almost completely died... My guess, do like I did and change the alternator then get the battery checked at a shop, I went with a 150 amp from DB electrical

What year is your expy? Mine is an 06 and my part numbers were like RK80716 and RK80717 if I remember right? I picked mine up from an auto parts store that distributes MOOG parts
Edit: I see it up top... Yours is an 03 so he's those should be the correct part numbers that you have just...
Not too sure on poly bushing replacements if buying separately but rockauto might be a good tool to use there. Keep in mind the ball joint is under a bit of stress now that it's lifted and still running stock length arms, a good strong ball joint would be something to consider as well... One of...
I like the MOOG control arms I put on my truck when I installed my 3/2 level... They come with bushings and ball joints and MOOG usually guarantees OEM quality or better... After about 3000 miles they're doing excellent!

Nice and with pulling back the weather stripping it just fits on how it was or do I need to put some adhesive on there?
Thanks for the help by the way and apologize for somewhat thread jacking

They seem ok but I think it ends there.. Ok... I tend to see a lot of truck running the trail blades when they have 24" rims on the truck and want to stretch a 35" tire to fit which isn't a good idea in the first place but they hold up pretty well from what I've heard and they look just like...
Hmm.. Could be... If I remember right right doing mine a few months ago I had to tug on it pretty good and my buddies 07 he did he says the same thing

I had extreme issues getting mine in as well... Ended up having help from someone and had them stick he Jack handle (large pry bar) against the cross member and lower control arm (with everything properly unbolted) and I was able to bang the thing in with a mallet was REAL tough to get it in...
My 2006 had factory rails on it just like most Expys... The Yakima basket I got (megawarrior) came with all mounting hardware and I bought the locks separately on Amazon... Great basket again though if you're considering it
