Yeah I've heard of that too that's why I stayed away from windshield mount, but mine is a 40" or 42" can't remember, and it fit perfectly inside the bars of the rack

I ran it behind the weatherstripping and I drilled through the pinch weld then re-sealed it with 3M weatherstrip glue. Worked perfectly haven't had a leak ever.

Pre-runner flares would be very sweet. I would also like to do something like that in the future possibly. But yes the light mounted directly where the fairing goes gives me a lot of light output I used rigid industries mounts to put it up there

I've also thought about a hitchgate for my Second Gen but I think I'm leaning more towards having a carrier/bumper built by my fabricator... the hitchgate just seems like its weak and sits way too far away from the hatch imo

I haven't been on the forum in a while, but last week I blasted and coated my frame/underbody and this week it's getting a new rad support, custom rocker panels (hopefully) and a full paint correction. #OverlandBuild

Similar story with mine, I paid $5000 and I have well over $10000 into mine in maintenance/repairs and modifications now it's impossible to get rid of it

Yeah... it's going to be just more of a garage tool or trail tool, helpful to have for others, etc. they DO NOT work at all expeditions unfortunately

Finally got around driving mine this weekend, and i just all 8 COPs with MSD brand, pinion seal and transfer case seals on the driveline, it got an awning, and hi lift jack added, and I'm ordering o2 sensors this week... someday it will be finished
