I couldn't seem to find rear drains. I also found a parts blow up and didn't see rear drains on that either. I did manage to blow out my drains and seems to have cured my issue. The front was holding a bunch of water so I blew them out and poured more water in. It drains pretty quickly now.
So unfortunately we had some heavy rain today and my wife noticed some water coming in around the rear entertainment system. I'm not pulling the headliner down unless I absolutely have too so I'm just looking for the drain line exit location. I'm assuming it runs down one of the pillars but just...
Do you know what it looks like? Its just a block of aluminum with a small power head on 1 end. You may not even realize your looking right at it. I'll see if I can get a picture of mine later today
Unfortunately I really can't recommend a place for manifolds. I was lookong for someone to do mine and since i have trust issues I broke down and did the manifold myself. It wasn't fun but I got them done and was able to extract the bolts that broke. The manifold is like $60 and studs another...
12v is 12v but if for Some reason the harness isn't carrying the current required as it should it could cause premature failure or just random issues. I woukd try the ballast on thr other side and see what happens
When I bought my first pnp hid kit back in 2002 it was hella ballasts and rebased osram bulbs. Top notch stuff but it cost me $600 and no one else in my area had them.
100% sure on diode being American made.
Some of the better equipment for oem hids come from Germany,Japan and a few other places around the world but no expense is spared for engineering and the overall build. When were talking Chinese manufacturing we see low cost components and every...
I'll bet your overcharged now. Get that low side down around 40 ish. That'll give you a 35° ish evap temp and should about right. Adding more refrigerant doesn't mean you going to make it colder and a PT chart needs to come into play when your guessing.
If he does commercial I'm sure he has 134a and nitrogen. I do commercial and R22, 134a and 410a are the most common refrigerants we use. Dry Nitrogen is great for helping dry the system. Replace all your components(compressor/drier/orifice tube), evacuate with your vacuum pump, sweep with...
Bulb caps with foam- industry standard
Wire colors- industry standard.
Hylux 2A88- far better than anything you'll ever find on Amazon. However, plenty have copied the exterior design
Bulb built by Diode exclusively for Diode.
Remember cheap kits are built to resemble better kits
The air will only run with all the doors closed and under 16mph. So if you hook up, hop in and go maybe you didn't allow time for the air to level the truck? I have a bad habit of leaving my drivers door open while I hook up and the one time I didn't give the suspension some time to level, it...
I drive an older 3rd gen so I can really comment on errors but I generally stick with Morimoto or Diode Dynamics for a full plug and play kit. My current Morimoto h1 kit is going on 3 years without a hiccup.
I do prefer oem ballasts (hella, denso)just because of the faster warm up time but...
