Yes its the same! If you PM BakerEdition he has a contact name and number for Edge to confirm and possible discount. But if its listed for 06 F150 its the same.
I was just trying to point out that i was just asking questions and sharing info. I know how easy it is to interpret the wrong context when on forums, Just tryin to be respectful! lol!
I read this before you edited it earlier but had to run so, its basically a blended MAF system meaning it uses...
I was talking about na not in your case but as related to fordandpolaris post.
Not trying to argue with you or discredit you in anyway i know you know what your talking about. Ive been out of the seen for a while so dont know a whole lot about the new stuff.
So do our trucks look at a table...
I wasnt sure exactly how it works, it was just for example for the laymen. I figured it was a close enough example. So its by weight in grams, thats a big number lol! But the AIT is still a key part in the fuel trim!
Tom you are correct, it is an electronic return less fuel system and there are variable fuel pressures depending on demands from the PCM. Not exactly sure what the variables are.
Any other electrical problems? These have a known windshield leak that drip onto the GEM and causes electrical problems like this. Have you gotten any rain around the time this started?
If not then stamp would have the solution.
With MAF it basically uses a table to come up with fuel calculations.
There are 2 parts to the equation, the first is the MAF its self which just measures the volume of air being sucked in by the engine. The second part is air intake temp, which measures the temp of the air the engine is...
Ive never been a fan of the quick fix stop leaks for the simple fact that its temporary and when it quits again its always at the wrong time and place and its usually time to scrap the caddy!
The price to fix it would be about the same as a low mile replacement! So maybe ask yourself if you...
Test and see if its when you just turn the wheel right and left or when your moving or a combination of both. Ball joint tend to start making noises when they start going south! And it usually sound like what you described.
Sounds like torque converter shudder to me. I have heard but never tried it but people say that you can add ford friction modifier to the tranny and it will fix it.
If they made a quality product then the money hungry shareholders wouldnt make any money!? Whats a better racquet than $85 coils and $15 plugs every 60-80,000! Sometimes i regret buying the 3v, but overall i love fords and i think they have some great ideas! Like the new 5.4 3v gives yo max...
One would guess that heat is a big part of the equation when it comes to the coils failing! It is electrical and creates its own heat on top of engine and spark plug heat!
Just my .02! lol!
I think im having the same issues! Im waiting for my taxes so I can take it in! Ive got a warranty but it doesnt cover anything electrical! So ill have to take it in and have them look at it and hopefuly it will only cost me my 100 dollar deductible!
