    Some guys swear by synthetic and others dont. My understanding is if you have used synthetic from day one on the engine it is best to stay with it. You might just want a high mileage oil.

    Expedition shut off while driving? fuel pump? Help!

    That Is exactly what happened to me on my expy. it would be perfect and then all of a sudden shuts off. I replaced my fuel pump and filter and everything worked perfect since then. OH and my fule pump went out with only 65k on her. Also yyou might hear a humming noise, my expy never did...

    In fact you might even want to try this site http://www.treadwright.com/p-79-315-70r17-guard-dog-m-t-d.aspx They are retreads but I have read some pretty positive stuff about them. The price is amazing!
