I’ve never found the measuring app to be accurate at all. That’s 5-5/16”. I either get 5" or 5-1/2". Where's the setting to get 1/16" accuracy?
Maybe for these sensors it doesn't matter, but it sure does on the rear bagged trucks.
The CCD struts have an electrical connection on them orientated to the back side of the strut I believe.
The strut has 3 studs on the top bolting it to the body. These are NOT evenly divided by 3 (not 360 degrees / 3 = 120 degrees apart) and have to be mounted in a certain orientation. (assuming...

In case anyone's wondering, I'm the guy making the adjustable sensor links. I'm starting to get a lot of phone calls.
I started making them for Expys with rear air and figured that after they quit using them, I'd be done making any. Didn't realize then that any suspension height changes on...
Now selling link kits for 18+ with CCD suspensions.
So far most are using a 3/2 readylift. https://www.readylift.com/3-f-2-r-lift-kit-ford-expedition-2018-up-1.html

Numerous CCD Expys have been lifted. I haz pictures.
The ride height sensor arm must be put back in the factory location where it was before the lift. This is done by making, or my favorite; "purchasing", new longer sensor links that will accomplish this. Just so happens I know a guy...
Is there a lift thread specifically for the '18-19s, or are is everyone on this one?
I'm starting to send out links to lift Platinums with mag ride, but haven't been able to nail down the exact numbers yet and could use some help.
Thanks
That's great to hear! I've been happy with how they have been working as well. Thanks for purchasing "that 3rd party little adjustable arm", I'm sure that guys boys are happy they can buy new batteries for their RC trucks with a little extra money... :D
They? That'd be me.
These have been available for 2 1/2 years.
As "you" mentioned?...
Sell a few every month as well as a few for Tahoe's, Yukon's, Escalade's, Dodge Rams, etc..
But hey, Thanks for the plug. :)
Thanks! I'm glad they are working for you as well.
Pulled a 3 place trailer with 4 sleds on it yesterday so I wasn't able to place the load where I wanted. I bet I had over 700 lbs tongue weight and everything leveled out and pulled beautifully. I wonder how far a guy could go with it....
The strut only changes height, The A arm suspension is twisted pushing it forward. If you push it down far enough, big tires will hit the front side of the wheel well.
I ran with 2 inches of lift (1") extended for a long time before I put this plastic in. I really only did it so that I could tell people what can be done without stud extensions because it doesn't need it. At 2 inches of lift, the tires already look biased to the front side of the wheel well...
