    Where'd everybody go?

Panda has been around, just infrequent. Walnuts is probably in the woods killing bambi. And sol sold the Expy for a f150, he's probably over there. Agreed, has been fairly quiet lately.

    A little stutter

Accel super coils #140033...claim a 10-15% more energy than stock. They're about $40 a pop or the whole set for about $300, check Summitt Racing or Jegs. Fuel filter pretty much standard issue.

    A little stutter

Motorcraft SP-515 are the plugs. Figuring out if you have a coil going bad without a CEL can be a pain. Might have to have someone/dealer do a power balance data logging through the OBDII port. Only reason I know, had same issue. Know the stutter of which you speak. My power balance...

    What's the Limiting Factor???

Rapid spec 300a is what you need for the HD tow package to be included...you have it on this one. As far as the wheels are concerned, you will lose some interior weight capacity due to the 20's, but that's what the Limited came with. Just boils down to more unsprung weight on the 20 vs a 17...

    What's the Limiting Factor???

First sticker doesn't list HD tow package, second one does.

    What's the Limiting Factor???

Oops, miss quoted...just went out and checked it...9000 lbs by the book. A little more reading a couple pages forward it mentions 9100 w/WD hitch. And the EL gets 8700. Regardless, 15000 GCWR across all platforms. The bean counters are at it again for the differences between model years.

    What's the Limiting Factor???

Gotta remember that the truck platform utilizes the leaf springs out back where the Expy is using IRS. Put some weight on the Ex and there is more squat side to side with the weight bring supported by coils. On the truck, leafs and solid axel supports the weight. Now to cloud the waters...

    What's the Limiting Factor???

Kinda need to know what exactly you're looking at. Being in Berks, I'm assuming 4x4 so you give up some in capacity right there. If you go EL, you give up some more. Ford and the bean counters have been messing with the tow ratings from year to year. As far as gearing...the EL comes with...

Confused about LSD/locking diff vs 4WD

Expand your search to include Eddie Bauer packages. Unless you have your mind set to certain options, almost everything comes in the EB or can be had if you can find them. Back to the original question... The AdvanceTrac of the Expy will have a tough time interfacing with a mechanical locker...

Anyone have problems with their 2005 Eddie front electric seats?

Have you tried the "default cancel" at least that's what I call it for lack of a better term. On my 08 when it got hung up, I powered the seat to the full back position and kept my finger on the back position and it will pop slightly forward. Reset the memory and go. At least that's what...

    After Market Tuners

I'm only running the 87 tune on mine and can squeeze 20 mpg on the highway, but I have other mods as well. What I gained in mpg, I'm losing with the added wind resistance if my lift. Still happy though, and don't really see a need at this time to run the 91 tune, but have the option.

    After Market Tuners

No complaints here from my HyperTech. Tranny improvement alone is worth it. Slightly better mileage, not drastic...better overall drive ability. The ole butt dyno is able to tell a difference!

looking at doing the spacer lift

Pretty much the same as my Truxxx 3/2 on my 3rd Gen. No issues, works great. Most of these kits claim 35" tires as max but I feel that's pushing it. 33"-34" probably more acceptable so there is no trimming issues for clearance. Before and afters are in my albums.

The Reason I got the Expy is Gone

Seems like you're ahead of the game, hard time to part ways, you're fortunate it sold so late in the season... Love our bowrider, 22ft., capacity plate of 10 or 1500 lbs, fits your criteria...just saying..,

The Reason I got the Expy is Gone

Congrats on the sale, just think of all the $ you saved in winterization costs this year. If you're ever in Tx and need a water fix, I'll take ya out on the Chaparral 210 ssi. Bring the Expy, never know, just might be for sale!

    Question on rims

Bolt pattern is 6 x 135mm, 04 and up previously mentioned vehicles in rim sizes 17, 18, 20, or 22 inch. I'm waiting on a set of new Raptor rims to show up on the net/craigslist and I'll grab them.

    2012 Ford Expedition Intake

Believe it or not, NO. The heat shield seals to the hood. A couple of the guys on here have taken temp readings at the intake and they are pretty close to ambient temp. The only time you start to suck warmer air is in stop and go traffic.

    2012 Ford Expedition Intake

The heat shield clips to the bottom part of the original air box. I never did the GOTTS, just couldn't really see a need. The cone is sucking air from 360 degrees anyway. Either one is gonna increase air flow, as right now yours is breathing through a straw. I've been a loyal K&N user for...

    Truxx 3/2 Lift

They should, just as long as there's enough adjustment on the keys remaining. I didn't take any chances and threw in new caster/camber keys during the install, check my album for reference if you need it. I guess they must work, tires are running straight and true, no goofy wear. The boys at...

    Truxx 3/2 Lift

Know this feeling all too well. Guess we'll both be trying to burn the rubber up so we can complete these projects. I'm gonna try to hold out and find a set if new Raptor take offs, wrap them with a 285/75/17(34x11.5)and shove them under mine if the $ is right. Yours looks good, just don't...
