    You need to go through the set up on the message center and turn off "easy entry". If I remember correctly, push the setup button on the center stack repeatedly until you get to that option and toggle it off.

    The intake tube could have a different bend, shorter/longer length, where the MAF plugs in could be different, crank vent holes might not match up, heat shield differences, support brace might not match up where it's supposed to, different size filter, just to name a few. Still with it all...

    That was my thought. Yeah, I probably paid a little more for the kit, but at least it came from a reputable manufacturer and fit without any issues.

    08 or 09 ford expedition

    Mileage will just about be a wash as the same powertrains are used. If creature comforts are your thing, go 08. The 08 being an EL(Max) may have the 30 gal fuel cell as opposed to the 26 gal on the 09.
