    i'll have to look who made my new switch. i bought it from RockAuto Auto Parts and they accepted it as a return so idk yet. i checked the plug and the top of the harness and all looked fine. i always run with the steering wheel all the way up and never move it.

    98 5.4 4x4 3:73 250-275 when i fill below 1/4 above E i have made it to 300 miles once! with mixed driving...but i did hit 400 on a strictly highway road trip. i drive with no consideration for MPG and idle time is in there. winter time i am lucky if i get 220-240...about 8-9mpg i track...

    i bought my '98 5.4 in 2010 with 63k on the clock. i switched to mobile 1 synthetic ever since and have had no issues what so ever. i say go for it!

    i fired mine up when i got home..was about 0F out it was covered in frost. pulled it in the garage to thaw out and i'm going to drive it tomorrow. it has a full tank of gas and the excursion is getting close to needing a fill up...the joys of having a choice of trucks to drive lol

    the scorpions suck IMO are you 4x4? if you are you should be able to get by but be very careful stopping/turning.

    cylinder #3 on my 5.4 blew at 62k miles. a helicoil was used and i now have almost 90k on it with no issues.

    just make sure its stable ground. i had to change a tire on my grandpas crew cab f-150 on a wet gravel road with a little slope to it. it ended up falling off before i got the last 2 lug nuts off thank god. ended up putting it in 4x4 so the front wheels would help hold it and got it changed..not...

    my friend had this issue with his '98. he replaced his pump and it stopped doing it. mine does not do this. i've run it on e with the light on for awhile and no issues. pumped almost 30 gallons in it before(30 gal tank)

    my 98 is all stock and seems to sit very level. just a tad higher in the back then others i have seen. my friend has a 98 that is sagging in the rear pretty bad.

    dupont automotive paints, sealer, base then clear. i did not sand down the texture as i kinda like it. i'll get better pics in the daylight with a real camera tomorrow.

    ever since painting interior parts on my '96 explorer i've had a thing for color matching interiors. so i started on the expedition tonight. i ran out of time but i like how it came out. takes away from all the grey! i have more planned.

    the expy only shares mirrors with the Supercrew f-150 the reg cab/super cabs have different mirrors that will not fit the expy or supercrew f-150. no go, sorry
