bunch of guys on another forum have been raving about these bulbs. i've put it off forever but finally caved and bought 2 sets. one for my expedition and one for my excursion. they seem very bright in sunlight..i wont be able to check night time output for a few months...damn midnight sun!
i run viper systems on all my trucks...absolutely love them! never had any issues once installed.
i put my first alarm on my explorer after it was broke into and the factory alarm never went off...still dont know how or why it didnt. had i had an aftermarket system on it..i would have been...
OT, i love AZ! been going the last 2 years for Barrett Jackson. awesome place!
i picked up a 20' Jayco TT. perfect for weekend camping. i'll prolly pull it mostly with the excursion but i'm sure the expedition will get some time dragging it around ;)
welcome! my family is from Williston.
any 97-03 f-150 wheel will work. you will need different lugs for the FX4 wheels though.
i cant help you with the lift as mine is stock. but most do 2" spacers in the rear and crank the torsion bars.
i just had the same leak on my excursion which should have the same tranny. 4r100. i ended up having the front seal and bushing replaced. fixed my issue...but cost me $800
i had some cheap aftermarkets on my excursion. kept having missing issues. ended up putting 10 new motorcraft units in almost 2 years ago. been great ever since!
the issue with the air ride trucks is yes you can convert it. but you are still left with the weaker torsion bars and coil springs...thus it will still sit lower then a non-air ride truck.
most came with 3:55s what from what i have seen. really depends on your area and how they would be ordered. 3:73s were optional and personally would not go with anything less.
we had a '98 4.6 4x4 w/3:55s when it was brand new till 2001. it was a great truck but it was GUTLESS! 5.4/3:73 is the...
okay, so here's my opinion. i like the 97-98s the best due to the 2wd setting rather then auto4x4 on the later ones(this is for the 4x4 expys if thats what your looking for) and much better front bumper as mine has taken more then one good hit. but with them you are down on power alittle bit...
i bought some cheapy ones off ebay for my expy almost 2 years ago now. i have one LED on the pass side that doesnt work intermittent. since they were only $100 i figured oh well i'll wait till it gets worse. so far no other issues.
its been a year since i did mine but i thought it was a allen head bolt? anyhow thats the only part that through me for a loop.
i have cyro treated power slots on my other truck and one day i'd like to put them on my expedition also.
I KNEW IT!!! my V10 excursion is faster then one of those things. i already out ran my buddys '13 patriot but i wasnt sure. that vid shows me that my 1/4 time is .4 sec faster. i ran a 17 sec flat in my monster. sorry to get off track but i always wondered what they ran. the best part was he...
my friend just bought a 2013 black also. its a nice little CUV. good on gas and still has 4x4.
sad to see your expy go, it was really sexy! i cant imagine not daily driving a fullsize SUV though.
