    bunch of guys on another forum have been raving about these bulbs. i've put it off forever but finally caved and bought 2 sets. one for my expedition and one for my excursion. they seem very bright in sunlight..i wont be able to check night time output for a few months...damn midnight sun!

    i think your current expy is fine, thats a light trailer. i've towed 7k with my '98 and had no issues.

    OT, i love AZ! been going the last 2 years for Barrett Jackson. awesome place! i picked up a 20' Jayco TT. perfect for weekend camping. i'll prolly pull it mostly with the excursion but i'm sure the expedition will get some time dragging it around ;)

    welcome! my family is from Williston. any 97-03 f-150 wheel will work. you will need different lugs for the FX4 wheels though. i cant help you with the lift as mine is stock. but most do 2" spacers in the rear and crank the torsion bars.

    i had some cheap aftermarkets on my excursion. kept having missing issues. ended up putting 10 new motorcraft units in almost 2 years ago. been great ever since!

    the issue with the air ride trucks is yes you can convert it. but you are still left with the weaker torsion bars and coil springs...thus it will still sit lower then a non-air ride truck.

    i bought some cheapy ones off ebay for my expy almost 2 years ago now. i have one LED on the pass side that doesnt work intermittent. since they were only $100 i figured oh well i'll wait till it gets worse. so far no other issues.

    my friend just bought a 2013 black also. its a nice little CUV. good on gas and still has 4x4. sad to see your expy go, it was really sexy! i cant imagine not daily driving a fullsize SUV though.
