I just looked at mine. There is a rubber mat that goes in on the bottom of that area. The top edge has a ledge that hols the phone. Maybe that piece is missing on yours.
Huh. I lost one and the ford dealer did just one. I got two different prices from two different dealers. The cheaper came in just under $300.
Oh, and then I found the missing key!
I'm leery of he non-dealer sites that offer keys cheaper. I'd be interested to hear if folks have had good luck...
I've been using Reese dual cam for years (like 13 years). No complaints.
AS far Andersen hitches are concerned, some Airstream folks have had problems with them on certain model Atwood couplers. I don't know if this has been corrected or it those are rare models of couplers. Apparently Andersen...
Except it doesn't give a warning, it just stays on the trailer screen (IIRC). If you lose the connection, it does give you a warning. Either way, if you disconnect the trailer you should be able to get to "no trailer" more easily.
I challenged a Suzuki Samurai at a stop light once. He beat me off the line while I waited for the auto stop/start to kick in. Then it turned out I had the adaptive cruise control on, so it kept me two car lengths back the whole time.
I had a similar noise in the same speaker in my 19 Expy. It would make even without the sound up much at all, making me think it was related to the noise cancellation or something.
They replaced the speaker under warranty and haven't heard it since. They said the speaker was blown. I never...
In February I rented an Explorer. It had about 35,000 on it. I was getting it from Salt Lake and returning it in Denver. I had the feeling they were getting ready to unload it. Before I got out of the parking garage in SLC, the "Change Oil Soon" notice popped up. I wasn't going to put that many...
My wife's Pilot hitch rattles like mad with a very low tongue weight on her drift boat trailer. I use one of those anti-rattle devices on it and it works well.
My bike rake doesn't use a hitch pin, but it has a captive nut on the stinger and you use a bolt through the receiver. Works great, you...
As previously said, drop is dependent on the trailer you're using. I use a Reese Dual Cam WD hitch. You will not have any sag with a properly hitched trailer.
Since I've only had the tow package I don't know what I'd get without it, but based on other's comments, it might cost me one mpg. I get 19 or more around "town" (a fairly rural area), 20+ on the highway.
I agree it was just a general reminder since they expect a lot of vehicles to be idle during the shut down.
I drive mine every day and I got the message.
