Yeah, I was thinking about asking this exact question today. What is the point of wireless charging if CarPlay and AA both require the phones to be wired and thus charging through USB? I guess you can charge your phone if not using AA or CarPlay, or you could charge a second phone.. but it...
I didn't know that! Makes it a much simpler install than hard wiring it with a low voltage kit, although I guess you lose the ability to use parking mode.
Thanks
Any link to Ford "acknowledging" the problem? If it is as severe as you say it is, I'll need to bring mine in for replacement at some point and would like to present the dealer with whatever necessary.
Is it just me? Two things.. first, isn't the drive mode wheel spinning backwards? If you turn the wheel (in any direction) it just activates the drive mode selector and puts you in normal. But if you turn the wheel left (towards you) it actually moves the drive selection to the right - into...
I drive normally, little differently than I did in my GT and I'm get just over 17mpg mixed after 800 miles. 2019 FX4. I don't think you need to be overly conservative to get that level of MPG, but I do think that driving aggressively even infrequently will severely reduce your MPG quick fast...
What do you mean by the locker tries to kick in? You have to manually activate the locker, so the question is if activating the locker automatically deactivates traction control - right? Maybe I can test that after work or somebody can test before then.. should be as simple as engaging the rear...
The FX4 comes with "Off Road Tuned" shocks, so there's something different about them than the "garbage shocks" or the CCD. The FX4 certainly rides differently than the base XLT's. Whether that difference makes them less or more likely to leak is another thing entirely.
It works exactly that way as I said back in page 1, that's how I use it. If you feel the need you have to close the gap because of traffic congestion and overly aggressive drivers around you that will cut you off and trigger the breaking, then simply accelerate to close the gap - or fall...
To each their own, I guess. I happen to love it, but I don't use it under those conditions. If traffic is too heavy and the surrounding drivers are too aggressive, I'll use the gas pedal to increase speed and decrease following distance until the traffic thins out and I can get off the pedal and...
Since his last post was in May, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I found this while searching to figure out which package remote start came with on my XLT (202A)

Mine never opens either. I've seen reviews on Youtube that had the same problem, one of them that seemed to get it to work consistently said there's two sensors on each side if you have a trailer tow package - otherwise, it's right in the middle.
Perhaps @Rotorhead451 can come back to this thread and elaborate a bit more about where/who CarToyz is and what exactly he purchased, how much he paid and if it really "activated" factory systems through Sync rather than an after market add on. (That's what his message in this thread sounded like.)
LOL! I was surprised about that when I went to buy my 2019... most of the reviews online I'd watched were about the 2018's, so I was surprised when the sales guy pointed out they ditched the CD player on the 2019's. I burned all my CD's to the Google Play Cloud years ago so it didn't matter to...
Has anybody put a min fridge in the center console? I guess it'd need to be rather small... Maybe it's better to just get a larger one and plug it in in the back? Certainly cheaper, after a quick search it looks like min fridges for the center console run over $1k, which is absurd.
