Yes there are heated LED headlights on the market. Snowplows use them at over $600 for the pair. We still run halogen on all our plows for the icing reason and cost and no reason to change to LED as ours are bright enough. BTW I hate LED head lights when they are not aimed properly coming at me....
My '04 has 194,000 on it and normal maintenance, 3K oil changes with either Castrol dino or Motorcraft semi 5-20. Only past issues that were replaced are the wiper motor, alternator, signal flasher, front and rear blend door motors. And changed the heater blower resistor a couple of times. The...
Back when the "rule" was 3K, I was changing oil at 2K. I did bump everything up to 3k except the GT and the CJ. The '16 Expy absolutely 3K for me as the turbos cost too much to replace and a boosted engine is much harder on oil.
Michelin Defender LTX M/S on all our vehicles except the GT & CJ. The '16 still has the stock Good Year but when those are done will be replaced with the LTX.
Wrong again, check with JLT. The screen is the intake, vapor passes through the honeycomb, condenses and the droplets form and fall out of that into the can. The outlet is also slightly higher to help keep from sending fluid to the engine. The kit fits perfectly and the hoses and fittings are a...
Cool stuff. Trust me I have a long list of vehicles and equipment to list as well. My kids are the family's 3rd generation racers. We build engines and repair all our own vehicles and equipment, nothing farmed out. The point is you shouldn't be commenting on a forum that you don't have first...
Bash the 3.5 all you want, I do find this very entertaining. Just remember all the 3.5 negative posts are from a guy who has a 2000 5.4. Nuff said right there. The rest of us have first hand knowledge on the 3.5. I will say I "was" a hard core V8 guy, until I bought the '16. It is almost as...
Some people just don't understand the concept of a can and how the PCV system works in a gas engine. Note I did not mention the Eco, DI or boosted....doesn't matter. If you want to keep crap out of the intake on ANY gas engine...can it!
I have said it too many times....a catch can will benefit any engine with a PCV system. Why put crankcase by products back into the intake system? Why dilute the fresh air and fuel charge in the cylinder with crap?
The vehicles I bought new are still owned and no plans to get rid of. Oil and filter changes every 3,000. The '16 Expy regardless of the oil monitor 3,000 with Motorcraft Semi synth... it has turbos and tight oil passages. So far I have pulled apart the '85 Mustang, '89 and 95 F350...zero...
