Good luck with getting the MPG numbers up from 13....my 2004 & 2006 with the 5.4 got maybe 13 down hill with the wind pushing it on a good day. Average was 11-12.
I do vehicle communications and lighting as a professional, I would look at installing a switch panel inside the center console if you want to preserve the factory look and be stealthy.
I put a mini toggle switch in the lower plastic panel which would be just to the side of the driver's right knee for the emergency lighting on the vehicle. Can't see it but know it's there and very easy to control.
Seems like a lot of folks like a LT tire not designed for an SUV let alone the Expedition but for a light truck. I tried them for a couple of days and got rid of them. If I wanted the harsh ride of a pickup, I would drive a pickup. The proper OEM size tire tire can be aired up to 44psi to give...
You will, I have the same truck with just over 200k. Keep the 5-20 oil clean and change the spark plugs if it wasn't done at least 50k miles ago. Change the tranny and transfer case oil too.
My '04 sticks sometimes if you send the seat all the way to the back. The trick we learned is send it back, then bump it a head a tad and it never hangs up.
You might be able to save the battery if you put a decent battery charger on it for a few days. Jumping it and running the engine will not charge a battery. I'm a dealer for Interstate and you would not believe the customer cores I have running in my stuff for years. Yes some are truly shot, but...
Nah you did alright and supported the economy. You paid someone else $500 to fix it. I have clients who are doctors and lawyers who couldn't tell the difference either...
Transmission leak to a water pump SMH.....if folks can't tell the difference in fluids, then keep your mitts out of the engine bay... and off the form. Sorry Monday and I have zero patience.
LOL if someone can't tell the difference between oil and water, then all the advise on this forum isn't...

Hmmm. Sounds like the can maybe of a simple design and not condensing the oil and water vapor as it should. The can only goes on the PCV suction hose. The other side is filtered fresh air sucking in and a can on that hose would do absolutely nothing. We used cans on NA muscle cars back in the...
I don't have any issues with freezing just that the can captures more moisture in the winter than summer. So I cheek and drain every 500 miles where in the summer every 1500.
The fuel line on the plug trick is for threading the plug back in without cross threading it.....works on a lot of hard to get at engines including outboards....thread a plug in with a socket and you can't feel it. But hey it's your heads....
07navi is just gonna go on all the different posts and pee in everyone's bowel of Wheaties with his Expedition expertise. I thought the tire one was never going to stop LOL. Just roll with it and have a Merry Christmas all.
