There are two ways for the rear to operate. One is by using the front controls. One is by using the rear controls. Generally, you do everything with the front controls. Front controls can override the rear controls. If you want to allow passengers in the rear to control their A/C or Heat...
I came across this from a Google search and see no one answered your question. Unfortunately, I do not know the answer to the question of why the extra fuel sensors. Maybe someone will see this and have the answer?
Considering most people travel between 10K and 20K miles/year, that would be between 5 and 10 years. You have 100K on a 2011? Geese man - that's way too much driving!
Then I would say they need to drop another $5K at least. Did you ask them? I'm curious on how a "new" 2012 can have 3K miles on it.....did they use it as a "demo" that one of them drove periodically?
tjcin - go to KBB.com and NADA.com and check the used car values for how that truck is set up. Then, check out trucks for sale online to see what people are asking for them. That's the only way you are going to find out if you are getting a good deal.
I bought my '11 with 15K miles on it...
I highly recommend reading the owners manual. I think you are missing a lot by not doing so. Yes, when you have the average MPG displayed, hold the reset button like you do when you reset the trip OD.
It sounds like your terms may be messed up in relation to "using the OD". I hope you are...
Definitely check to ensure you reset the MPGs. I do it every fill-up and run my own calculations. Surprised me to see the last 330.1 miles I ran from NJ to VA the computer and calculations were spot on at 18.8 MPG on my '11 EL.
Around town, I have short commutes so my average MPG tends to...
I'm not sure either. It could be from towing large trailers. I felt my '99 5.4 could have used more power when towing my 24' RV. it's one of the reasons I was "considering" the GM 2500 based Yukon. Since I haven't towed my trailer more than a short test drive, I don't have an opinion on my '11.
One more thing - FordandPolaris mentioned the 2014........though the 5.0L may be better than the 5.4L, I'm not sure I would buy a new 2014 since it will be a new design. I'd wait at least until 2015 for them to work out the bugs. Unless of course, it really is an oversized Flex (yuk!) which...
Tim - I have a friend who has the 8 lug Yukon XL and a father in law with a regular Yukon XL. Neither compare to the '11 Expedition EL I purchased in March. The ride is better and interior is of better quality too.
As for fuel milage - can't compare it to the GM products as I don't have...
Bernard - you must have missed where atmasters mentioned the Kenwood idatalink module. It's very possible. Look at the following. If my truck didn't come with the NAV, I probably would have gone the Kenwood route.

My '11 Expedition EL is AWESOME. Just got back from a straight 15 hour trip and felt pretty good. I believe the length had something to do with it as well as the newer suspension in the Gen3. I've had 4 hour drives in other vehicles where I was worn out after.
I recently went through the same decision process. It was time to replace my '99 EB 4x4. I was considering a Yukon XL and Expedition EL. The main reason I didn't go with the GM product is materials used in the cabin seem sub par to those used by Ford. Especially the leather.
My father in...
I have the "factory" headrest DVD system and can send audio out via FM. It's activated by a button on the remote. Maybe check that? If you read the manual, you might be able to figure it out.
