    It was at Maritime Plaza, just east of the Navy Yard. And it was an obvious commuter battlewagon....something a like a 1983 Chevy Luv truck with no shiny spots or undented body panels. It was one of those cars you look at and say "I ain't parking near him". Alas, I was there before him.

    Short oil life?

    Two things: 1. The monitor was not reset at the last oil change, or 2. The monitor was not reset to "100%" at the last oil change. On my 2008 Mounty, I can set the 'oil life remaining' to (IIRC), 10%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100% at any time. It could be the tech set it to 80%.

    You're assuming both wells should at the same height. They aren't. Measure both wells before and after hitching up to compare the before and after measurement of the same wheel, but not to each other.

    I've never drawn a vacuum on any of the a/c systems I've cracked open. Just re-charged. Never had a problem.

    Did you smell the driver side carpet or your shoe? Before you run off and freak out over a gasoline smell you first noticed at a gas station, consider the possibility that you stepped in a puddle of gas on the ground (a small drop of gasoline can stink like hell for a long time) and got it on...

    As long as exhaust gas is flowing, your turbines are spinning. You can disable a supercharger, not a turbine.

    Misfire under load.

    This sounds an awful lot like an IAC failure. I don't know if your engine has an IAC, though. Virtually no engine nowadays has one.
