Yeah, I have a 22 Timberline that won’t remote start from the fob. I asked the dealership about it and they told me the auto start/stop delete also deleted that.
It will however remote start from the app, which functionally never made sense to me. I argued with the dealership and they were...

I just uploaded a bunch of videos of things not working properly for the dealership to see. They still aren’t fixing anything because Ford warranty denied everything. No code no fixy.
This is a new one, my “screen boots up as a Mach-E”, controls don’t...
So, using the touchscreen if I set the rear to anything above 83 degrees, it sets it to a max of 83 degrees. If you use the dial from the rear seat, it will stay above 83. See the video link.
Ford has said all of the Expeditions do this so there’s nothing to fix, that if I want it to be set...
22 Expeditions and dealers are a show right now. I will never own another Ford because of this Covid produced car I bought and the way Ford refuses to fix things. Like flat out refuses to warranty an item that’s not at all working, saying all of them do that.
You will be getting a new APIM. You will probably be getting several new APIMS. I’ve had mine almost a year and it’s in the shop for its 5th APIM replacement.
Welcome to a nightmare. The APIMs (control module) fail almost monthly. 2022 Timberline is nothing but problems.
I’ve had 4 APIMS replaced, it’s in the shop being diagnosed to get the 5th one replaced.
2022 Timberline, I get that too. It feels like a really rough idle for 5-15 seconds and then stops. If you are outside of the vehicle you can hear some sort of thing kicking on when it does it. It’s very disturbing. The 2022’s are piles of crap.
So I know there is a service bulletin, where the tailgates are too close. It’s not an actual recall though and we have to wait for it to spike through the roof before they fix it?
Welcome to the intermittent issues that plague 22 Expeditions and Ford gives you the big ole middle finger to.
I’ve literally reproduced issues for the service manager and had dead screens that they say Ford wont fix. Because it doesn’t store a code and they don’t have it hooked up to the...
Just kind of an FYI. I did more testing. It’s not actually working correctly. You can even see it in the video.
When you are stopped with your foot on the brake for like 5 seconds, it’s supposed to disable the cruise control. You can see in the video, it recognizes it’s stopped, and then says...
I do see it’s intended to set the speed to 15 mph if you are at a stop and there is a car in front of you.
As a software engineer, allowing you to do this while you are obviously not on a road with one button press is absolutely bonkers. Its intention is for stop and go traffic. They are...
So here is another video.

All I’m pressing is the large “Cruise On” button, I’m not setting anything. If there is not a vehicle in front of me it turns cruise on but does not set a speed. If there is a vehicle ~10-15 foot in front of me it turns cruise on and sets...
No, there is a single button that turns cruise on and sets at the same time. Pressing this button should normally not set the cruise active while at a stop. I have figured out the issue.
With speed recognition turned on in the settings, it sometimes displays an erroneous “speed” which is just a...
It turned on when I was stopped, and set a speed of 15 MPH. So when I let off the brake to creep forward it launches forward after 4-5 feet and tries to get itself to 15 mph. I have no idea why it can get set for 15 mph when you are at a stop with the foot on the brake.
This has happened to me 3 times, I was able to reproduce it. Sitting in line at a drive through, and driving in a parking lot. I don’t think I turned cruise control on (I did for the video to reproduce it) but it’s possible I hit the button on accident while wearing a heavy coat. Every time I’ve...
I kind of get using factory data to calculate things. But I ran the tanks basically dry to test (I always do on a new vehicle) and it physically went 40
-50 miles farther on the transmission before it learned my driving habits, which is not that aggressive.
So this is just an FYI. Also curious if others noticed this. When my Timberline was brand new a full tank would show and give me ~420 miles a tank. My MPG average started slowly creeping up (better mpg) but my range was creeping down, what the display said and what I was actually getting per...
