    Dang! I broke it! Have no idea what it is.....

    I was installing my new heated PCV boot and line and I found several large chunk's of broken black plastic sitting on top of the engine block, I think it's part of something called the "isolator" any idea's of it's importance?

    Do you have the air suspension switch active? If so, turn it off, support the rear of the vehicle, remove the air line's to both rear bag's, clean them and re-install. If that does not work, clean the rear bi-directional valve electrical connection, then very gently tap the valve with hammer...

    The vent solenoid on the air compressor no longer released the air from the rear bag's or the front shock's. this is a non repairable part so you must purchase a new or rebuilt compressor.

    Completed the Gott's modification

    Just changed the plugs, cleaned the MAF sensor and I'm not leaking coolant, so I'm just waiting for her to throw a code. I think it's a bad coil or bad injector, but it's been two weeks and I still have no SES.......

    Just telling you what the truck tells me, it reads 15.8 AVG MPG with a bad miss too.

    Well, I finally did the modification, went to the muffler shop and asked for a 6" piece 3" exhuast tube, came home, did the modification in about 20 minutes, test drove, very nice. Went from 12.7 AVG MPG to 15.8 not bad, now if I can just figure out my engine miss.........

    Hi guy's, My 1999 Expedition is having a fit. Fired her up yesterday and after a few miles she started to jerk and stumble, then smoothed out and ran fine. On the way back home, same thing. Today I noticed that she runs really smooth until I try to accelerate, the she bucks and jerks for a bit...

    I've been using Castrol 5W30 with a Motorcraft filter, I've heard that I should be using 5W20. Can someone tell me what the factory recommends? Sometimes I have the "startup rattle" and was wondering if it was my use of the wrong weight of oil..........

    I found a 2000 Expedition being parted out and it has a factory 60/40 bench seat in front, and no floor console..........is that common?

    Took my 1999 Expedition out in the wilderness, forded a river and two streams, scared the hell out of a couple a moose, fixed a flat, got stuck, got unstuck, mud everywhere, got a dent from sliding into a rock...........a perfect day!

    I want to clean my motor, but I'm not sure how.

    I just use Purple Power degreaser and a garden hose. Then fire her up to dry out. Never had a problem.

    Smoke at start up

    Mine does the same thing, turns out to be moisture in the cat's. It goes away after everything heats up.
