    ok I was hella bored so i took a stab, it looks like there all different, the a pillars on the gen 1 expy is different as well as the 03-04 f150 based on pics. here are my findings

    throttle body cleaning

    I'm pretty sure 03 still has IAC which would be a good start on a smoother idle. I cleaned mine out when I changed my plugs. def had some carbon build up. I just used throttle body cleaner, and while your at it might as well clean the MAF sensor

    thats why I havent pulled the trigger on a grille I've been looking for a fatter bar style so it doesnt have the see thru look. the screen works good seen a dude do it on cardomain with a streetscene mesh grille cuz he had the same issue

    I'm a hardcore believer in wire mesh but I haven't found and of the "fatter wire" grilles just the thinner, powder coat white is a great look bug but because of bugs I wouldn't, my rims are stainless (but I keep 'em clean though) so I was thinking a polished al in front and inthe middle powder...

    look into powerfold or one of those other ones still like 2G's but cheaper then acquiring and installing oem stuff
