You may need to do a little 'massaging' of that mount flange on the axle to make the Posi lok housing fit correctly. A flat file and a round file will help.
Otherwise, the install should be a breeze. (just don't forget to put that little boot on the end before you finish the install.

Looks like someone did a hack job of an air bag to coil spring conversion.
I'm pretty sure that they don't tell you to weld that spring to the perch like that.
My buddy had them in the rear of his lifted AWD Astro van and they worked ok to raise the back up an inch or two. But when it wasn't loaded up, it was WAY too stiff and the rear had a tendency to jump around over bumps.
The EVAP system takes fuel fumes and keeps them from getting out in to the atmosphere.
It's a charcoal canister with a bunch of hoses coming in and out of it.
If you just replaced the fuel cap, you should clear the codes and then see if they come back before you start tearing through the EVAP...
It is engaged when the lever is pulled toward the passenger side.
What can happen is that the steel lever for the disconnect can corrode where it goes through the aluminum axle housing. Once you remove the vacuum actuator, you can usually free it up by spraying it with PB Blaster and moving...
You can get decent brake rotors and pads as a set on ebay.
China made rotors are now about the same quality as their US made counterparts. So there's really no reason to spend big bucks on name brand pieces. (even most of those name brand parts are China made now)
Just remember, that these...
I would go with a body lift, simply because of the cost difference. A real suspension lift will be at least 4 - 5x the cost of a body lift.
Get the gap guards and no one will ever know that you have a body lift.
I guess that I'd look at the most obvious thing first. Are you sure that the filter was fully seated?
Have you thought about using one of those 'trans fixes in a bottle' , then run it for a while and perhaps change the fluid again?
I think if you were running steel wheels, you may be ok, but with aluminium wheels, you may not have enough threads to make a solid connection.
Also make sure that you're buying hubcentric spacers, or you could have vibration issues.
Everyone has known for years that ethanol blends are basically evil. It has cost boat owners millions of dollars in tank maintenance and repair. It's been well know that a blend of ethanol over 10% will cause damage to vehicles.
BUT....
The corn growers association lobby is very powerful and...

If not, then take a look at n-fab...
From what I understand, the Sync / MyFordTouch systems are the only ones that Ford updates for free. And those are system updates, not updates of the nav maps themselves.
You can check with your dealers service department to get the full details on your specific system, but don't be surprised...
Once you remove some of the front accessories and upper intake, there will be plenty of suitable lifting points to bolt mounts to.
One of the only place that would be off limits would be the exhaust studs. They are way too thin and fragile.
Those mpg numbers are worse than my truck was getting with the setup you see below.
It's time to hit all the basics. Fuel, air filters. Clean mass air meter. Sea Foam the intake. Change fluids. Check air pressure in the tires. Ignition system maintenance.
Once all that is all done. It's time...
Most of the lift manufacturers warn against using their products on AWD models, but I'm pretty sure that numerous people have done it without having vibration issues.
