The ports were working for the past six months but stopped working this past week. They charged and had data for CarPlay. Was hoping someone on the forums had an easy fix I could do instead of taking it to the dealership. I now have an appointment with the dealership to have it checked out later...
I live in Houston and had to drive through a flooded area today that was somewhat deep. Do you guys have any recommendations on what to check or replace? Does anyone know what costs are to replace transmission fluid and is it necessary? Thanks in advance.
Aporthole, oldest child is 25lbs and youngest is 15lbs. I have the Nuna Rava that I'm mainly worried about. I also have the Nuna Pipa and the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 4-35 but I'll likely transition kids to the Rava well before they reach 35lbs. Thanks in advance!
Is it possible to disable the seatbelt airbags in the 2nd and 3rd rows? I am using those rows for infant seats that are not compatible with airbag seatbelts. Currently using LATCH but will need to switch to seatbelt soon as weight is getting closer to the LATCH limit. Thanks in advance.
Purchased new Audis, Mercedes, and Toyotas and never had this issue. This is my first Ford though and have had more issues in these first three months than my previous 5 cars combined. Thankfully the Ford extended warranties are so cheap.
Has anyone found parts under their Expeditions duct taped? I saw something hanging under my Expedition today and looked under and was surprised to see a whole piece duct taped. The Expedition was purchased 3 months ago, has less than 4,000 miles, and only this dealership has touched it. I...
I've noticed brake fade during some medium to medium heavy braking with 5-6 passengers and without towing. I do think that the 95F Texas heat contributes to the issue somewhat but am not entirely sure how much. Rotors and calipers seem very pricey. What pads would be better? How much more dust...
That sounds very similar to what I have. I took it into the dealer and they lubricated and tightened a portion of the driveshaft and it helped somewhat but the sound is not completely gone. Could you update us when you have the dealer take a look at yours?
Our 2018 Expedition with CCD is a dream on the highway but seems to be very bouncy on local bumpy roads. It is almost as if the springs are too strong for the damper, causing the suspension to do several cycles before settling. Some regular road bumps feel as if we are being launched off of our...
I had the same issue with my 2018 before I even drove it off the lot. Front AC worked fine but rear AC was warm even after 30 minutes of running on maximum. There is a TSB (#18-2293) for this issue. Tech had to clear the refrigerant, replace a hose and rear climate control assembly, then put...
It was initially making a loud clunk so I brought it into the dealership to have it checked out. Dealership wrote it is "caused by a slip/stick condition at the transmission output shaft flange/anti-ting ring interface." They lubed and checked torque on parts and then returned the Expedition...
I was in the same boat as you comparing large SUVs to minivans a few months ago. I can't speak much to the longevity of the Expedition, but coming from other car brands, I was surprised at how low the Ford extended warranties are priced. Some information to help cut down your paranoia - I...
I've noticed the brakes on the Expedition are not as effective as my other vehicles and has what sometimes feels like slight brake fade during regular braking. I'm wondering if this is common and if there are any known upgrade options (big brake kit, pads, etc) that other owners have done...
