@ManUpOrShutUp dude, every time I see your tiny avatar pic on my phone btowser it looks like a man sitting naked spread eagle just barely covering his junk
I've replaced my bulbs with LEDs on exterior and interior except for the 3rd lamp (melted reflector so I need to get a new assembly) and the headlamps (projector housing) because most of the LEDs I tried in projectors left gaps in the beam pattern. My experience left my hyperflash on with just...
@HawkX66 so would you say that once we have the aftermarket bumper we just need to buy a grille for the 3rd gen rather than trying to get one for 15-17?
The panel between the headliner and the tailgate does pop down. However, the plastic tabs break easily if you aren't careful so be prepared to shell out about $200 if you have meatsticks for fingers and no proper tools. My issue was in the engine bay still (fortunately) and only cost me $20...
@getnbzi doing a led swap is easy. This time the bulbs have fused to the reflector in at least 2 spots for the bulbs making replacement impossible without breaking stuff. Once I break it I kiss warranty bye-bye.
@lbv150 ah yes, the forever on brake lights in Los Angeles. I wish I could just put...
If you have the large sync 3 touchscreen then You should be at least up to the v3 software update when you hit "about". If you are still in warranty it will be a new control unit if the update keeps failing like mine did.
Just Google the my ford owner web page, register and log in. Have a usb...
Same. I regularly use the power fold when I park & when I'm stuck in traffic and a fellow rider is filtering through traffic. No power fold, no swappy mirrors
Here are pictures of my skid plates from RCI. The rear exhaust is pretty close to the plate & clangs a little bit upon startup but no other time. The guys installed spacers there to drop it a tad. Otherwise it would be resting on the exhaust.

I have a few bulbs out in my high mount brake light so I removed it to replace bulbs. I noticed that the housing is pretty melted & 3 bulbs are pretty much fused to the plastic. Anyone else have this problem? I would like to replace my rear lights with some blacked out housings (clear glass to...
This sounds like it's the total resistance rather than a spot in the level. I wonder if it's easy to check your power & ground. Might be easier to have a 5 gal Jerry can & see how long it stays on E and how many gallons it takes after you fill with the 5gal Jerry can. Might actually have the...
Typically the sending unit will be off in a certain range of fuel tank level rather than being off throughout the range of the tank level because it's a simple potentiometer. If the resistance value at the top is a little off it will register being in the first 1/4 tank for much longer than the...
I'm 100% sure it will. Engine runs with a rich fuel/air mixture until optimal operating temperature is reached. If it's never reached you will burn significantly more fuel at all throttle positions.
@powerboatr his happen in parking maneuvers so I doubt he's mashing the pedal to quickly merge with the parked cars & triggering the limited slip or traction control.
Do you use the same pump?
Do you keep track of the # of gallons you usually pump?
Track mpg per fillup?
Track actual miles traveled vs the estimate?
The shutoff is controlled by the pump when it senses the splash-back. If it happens at every pump at every fillup then you have a problem with...
@17LimitedExpy the invoice I got was only the cp stuff I paid for with a note on my driveline complaint to "see ro#xxxxxx for resolution" and they never gave me that one.
I did have it in 2H. I did not check for 4A function. As long as I have a warranty & I'm not getting paid for my diagnosis, I don't feel like spending the time with the dealer that doesn't listen to me anyway. Here is a different story. I'm doing diagnostics when things go wrong so I can help...
I had this exact experience. The service advisor said that they replaced the front diff. They separated the ticket into two different ones with one for the power train warranty work & inenfir customer pay. I did not get the copy of the warranty work ro so I can't confirm. Looking under the truck...
Looks like nobody has the answer. I'm thinking I will want to invest in this manual while it still exists.

Maybe the service guide too because the local dealer SUCKS
@Adieu well yes the rub happened with the curb jump which sort of compressed the suspension a lot. If I were to have done any off roading that would create articulation of compression it would rub there too.
This is why I recommended removing the whole trim piece around it. That one is more robust and it's easier to get the 4 tabs underneath w/o snapping them.
I used to work for Mercedes Benz as one of their dealer technicians.
Munkie's Kleinn HK8 Air horn Product review short version: Don't bother for airing tires.
So when I ordered the air system I made a phone call to the guys at Kleinn air horns saying that I would be using the system also to air up/down my tires when I go off road. They sent me their HK8 kit...
