    Smart man. btw when changing the oil filter i forgot to rub the old oil around the ring of the new filter but then i figured enough oil dripped over the mounting threads removing the old oil filter I'm sure it would grease up the new filter fine. thats logical thinking right?

    I'm just stumped. I drove an 89 Cherokee for 12 years, now that I drive the expedition I couldn't see myself touching an explorer. That and I've never really cared for their design. Just tell me why Alaskan, what purpose does the explorer serve?!?

    I felt the same way when I filled up in Dallas. Filled back up at a 7/11 got home with above a quarter tank. When I arrived in Dallas I had a little under half.
