Just got back in time to read up on your suggestions. Do I have to remove the door panel to get to that switch or can I pop that switch out from the molding?
Same issue, kind of but not really. when the window on the drivers side rolls up i hear a "ping-ping-ping" echno like a rubber band being stretched tight is being plucked. and the if i don't put my elbow into the window after it is up it would seat properly. I have to seriously force it into...
I was stuck behind a Camry for two hours going 15 mph on the interstate. everyone ahead of us was going 45. (So was I after the lanes opened up.)
I don't understand people who have Front wheel drive and are afraid of snow an ice. It may take you a million years but you'll eventually get...
It may be because I'm a huge lions fan, It may be because you're from the motherland for our vehicles or it may be because you guys have turrible winters and I beleive you know what you're talking about.
but I'm in 100% agreeance.
So I have been looking for a Gen 2 king ranch JUST for the seats. If I read correctly by previous posters these could be switched out with my Gen 1, correct?
Seriously though, I would have loved to play with A4WD in the snow. I'm about 5 hrs from you. (thanks for sending all that bs up our way.)
I bet all the road salt and dirt doesn't show as bad on your paint job as it does my maroon.(not sure if that's the right color description, i know it's...
Arkansas here, rain sleet, ice and everything fun all over the roads. Even if my '00 4.6 is a 2wd I was trumping these 4wd vehicles today. Seriously though, picked up a new set of Bosch wipers today for autozone. best wipers ever. The blades are Driver and passenger side specific, I can never go...
If this was a questions concerning jeeps to Expy's I could write you scrolls of Cons to pro's. This is my First Expy, it's disheartening to hear my '00 4.6 isn't worth a plugged nickel but then again I haven't experienced a 5.4. I just can't imagine the difference.
The only thing I can...
Something that was almost a problem was those damn step sides. I had to cut my wheels had to the right to reach the plug. I just didn't want to have to put it on jacks to change the oil. (Coming from an 89 cherokee laredo this was a world of difference)
Answer me this, not oil related but if...
Iiiii did neither...any real concerns? I mean come on, it's a rubber gasket, it's going to expand with teh heat anyways right?
I mean what's the worst that can happen.
Smart man. btw when changing the oil filter i forgot to rub the old oil around the ring of the new filter but then i figured enough oil dripped over the mounting threads removing the old oil filter I'm sure it would grease up the new filter fine.
thats logical thinking right?
Painted the Grill black with Dupli-color trim paint. Looks too Sick. However, Now the bottom Trim of the bumper that is Grey doesn't Match :/
You think it would be wise to use the same spray for that trim?
Weekend story btw. So about Last Monday my 00 XLT Threw the dreaded check engine...
I'm just stumped. I drove an 89 Cherokee for 12 years, now that I drive the expedition I couldn't see myself touching an explorer. That and I've never really cared for their design. Just tell me why Alaskan, what purpose does the explorer serve?!?
From time to time I like to dabble on the idea of an excursion. But then I'm reminded they don't go cheap. Those barn doors and front end haunt my dreams. :(
I felt the same way when I filled up in Dallas. Filled back up at a 7/11 got home with above a quarter tank. When I arrived in Dallas I had a little under half.
Can't I just be excited about my mpg? I think I already prefaced this by indicating my understanding and acceptance of my mpg. I like many others bought this vehicle for the size and reliability.
Yeah, I was on low fuel and put a little over 20 gallons in her. I honestly thought the tank was 25 tops. I'm sure if I had her filled to the brim I would have had that 280 at half you were talking about.
I really don't get these kind of opportunities for highway miles so the mpg was...
