    Turns out that Ford mislabeled several bulbs on there. Got the fog lights out today, and sure enough, different size. Technically takes the same bulb as the headlight, at least it mounts the same.

    Yep, had to turn off DRL to keep the LEDs off.

    Yep, doesn't match the manual. My biggest thing is the DRL, turn signals. I really don't want to wire in the resistors. Plus they get super hot.

    So no codes as of yet for the 2019 Expys, correct? I really want to change out my front turn signals to LED switchbacks, but don't want to wire in the resistors.

    Ford lied once again in there manual. My fogs were not 9140 bulbs, they were h8 bulbs. Not even close to matching up. I was going to do the switchback turn signals, but not really keen on installing the load resistors to make them not hyper flash. I feel that might void my warranty.

    Agreed. I had to spend $90 per set on my led bulbs. The dd's cost I think $180 per set.

    The only benefit to the halogen headlights, we can replace bulbs when the go out. Little bit more to it with the oem led headlights. But....I'd still take them. Lol

    I'm installing the fogs this weekend. I ordered either Alla lighting or JDM A stars. I'll check when they get in.

    I can this weekend. I am also changing all other bulbs over to led this weekend as well. Front and back. And BTW, I used Hikari bulbs for my low and high beams. $180 for both sets.

    Just changed out my XLT's bulbs yesterday. They are way brighter now with the LED's. The manual was way wrong for mine, the low's were the HB3s and the highs were HB9s. Luckily, the HB9 is classified the same as the H11 and HB8.

    Don't be scared of the V6 twin turbo. I was saying the thing before we bought ours. The V6 is faster than the 5.0, and can tow quite a bit. You just need to go text drive one and check it out if you haven't yet.

    Something funny, but not.

    We just got out XLT back today, and my wife says the only thing she misses is the power running boards from the Platinum. I've already priced them out, and might get them for her for Christmas. Oh yeah, she did like the 22's also.

    Has anyone changed out their turn signals yet to leds on the XLT models? If so, which ones did you use? Are they switchbacks?

    Something funny, but not.

    Actually, they put some beefy tires on the stock 22's. I was looking at them earlier. I was expecting them to be skinny also. If that was the case, yeah, it would be rough. I will say this, we took it down a rougher road tonight, and the dang things bounces. Feels really really squishy...
