F150cowboy: I went with the Crome rolls from autozone and it worked great. The insert is fairly easy to pry out, may have some tape residue that can be scraped off. Removing exterior door trim insert
I bought a 98 a month ago with the same problem and it looked like crap. Was a real easy fix with the rolls from autozone. The insert slips right in, just cut each one a little long so the trim piece can fully overlap replacement. The rolls I bought had 3m tape as the backing. I didn't need a...- 3ronco
