    Rear wiper adjustment

Thanks for that link. I now understand what you are referring to. I was under the impression that it would have had a round cap that installs onto the section that mounts to shaft. I didnt realize that the whole piece swings upwards. Cool... I like that wiper arm too.

    Rear wiper adjustment

I will have to take a picture of this wiper arm. It is completely covered with metal. It appears to be a once piece unit.

any1 have pictures with the lower molding removed?

After posting my question I had come to the conclusion that he probably meant the tan trim. At the time I thought he was referring to a lower valance trim piece on front bumper. I couldnt think of anything on my front bumper. That is why I was confused. Anyway, yeah I dont think I would...

any1 have pictures with the lower molding removed?

What lower molding are you referring to, if I may ask? I have a 2004 EB Black and I would like to remove the running boards and paint the tan trim to black. I know this is not what you are referring to though.

    Rear wiper adjustment

Anybody know how to adjust the rear wiper on the 2003 and up Expeditions? I have a 2004 and the wiper hangs a little low. I thought there would be a cap covering a nut or something but it doesnt seem to have it. Thanks

2004 Navigation lcd display turns off and back on

Just recently noticed an issue with my Navigation. The display (lcd) will completely shut off and then turn back on. It will do this while radio or dvd is being played. When this happens it does not interfere with audio. Everything continues operating normally. When display comes back on it...

    2004 with Factory Navigation

Thats what I thought. I was under the impression that it was a double din. I wonder why crutchfield has their info wrong. Anyway, I would keep the current head unit but I do like the idea of running my ipod and using pandora on the unit.

    2004 with Factory Navigation

Hey guys.. I recently purchased a 2004 Eddie Bauer with Navigation and was thinking about upgrading the receiver to something with built in Navigation and is iPod/iPhone friendly and does Pandora. Crutchfield says my 04 only allows for a single din setup. Its a large receiver. Is this...

    Rust protection/undercoating recommendations - Michigan

There is a Ziebart about 30 miles from me. I suppose I could check them out. From what I have heard, their prices are pretty high. But if it works then its worth it.

    Rust protection/undercoating recommendations - Michigan

Thought I would ask if anyone has any recommendations for reputable undercoating businesses in Michigan. I picked up this 2004 Expedition a few weeks ago and I want it to stay around for a while. The underside is very clean with minimal rust underneath. I live just north of Grand Rapids. Any...

New (used) 2004 Expedition that has aftermarket keyfob and want to use factory.

Found a module and yes I do have remote start. Now my next step is to replace this worn out code alarm keyfob. The buttons are so warn that they have a tear going through the middle of them. I go to their website and match up the keyfob and it says unavailable.. hmmm, Hopefully I can get a...

Would like to soften ride on 2004 Expedition

From what I understand of the door label, the section at lower right corner 'SPR' is the springs installed. CCFF , I found a site that says CC is a front spring CC — 3L1J-18B036-AA and FF is FF — 3L14-18B036-BA. Based on the one pic that I attached, it shows a part # of 4L14-5534-AA...

Would like to soften ride on 2004 Expedition

265/70/17 is what is installed on there now. I thought the shocks looked newer just because of the condition. As far as part #, the number does coincide with what is available on the vehicle. I suppose I could look at the label at door to make sure the spring is what is actually...

Would like to soften ride on 2004 Expedition

So I just picked up an 04 Eddie Bauer non air suspension. It had BFGoodrich Rugged Trail when I purchased it but tires were shot so I replaced them with Long Trail's. The ride did improve but not enough. The EB seems to ride rather firm. A little too firm for my liking. It seems to pick up...

    Unhappy with discount tire

I really didnt know what to think when I stopped back in. I assumed they would have found a reason to get out of fixing my situation. I wonder how many people they do rip off with this 'tpms rebuild' kit. Most people wouldnt know what to look for. Its kinda like asking for someone to replace...

    Unhappy with discount tire

Well I just wanted to say that I took the car in today to get the tires looked at. I asked how they go about taking the tire off if the valve core is seized into the stem. He said that they would drill a hole in tire to remove air and then remove tire. I said, well if it was seized then...

    Unhappy with discount tire

Here is a pic that I took of the front passenger tire. It is a metal (aluminum) stem. You can see the valve core is bent. I have no idea what will happen about this issue. I need to go there at 2pm today to get this resolved. They better make things right. You can see air bubbles coming...

    Unhappy with discount tire

So I purchased a set of BFGoodrich Rugged Trail tires the other day. Cost me a pretty penny. The guy added the TPMS rebuild kit to the bill. I didnt even as for this but I was going to ask to have it added anyway. They install the tires and all is good for a couple days. Yesterday I...

New (used) 2004 Expedition that has aftermarket keyfob and want to use factory.

I was looking for a module under the dash. When I was looking the other day I didnt have a whole lot of time so I just glanced at it for a moment. I didnt see a module underneath but I will have to investigate this a little further.

New (used) 2004 Expedition that has aftermarket keyfob and want to use factory.

Correction: I do see Code Alarm written on keyfob. So I assume it at least has an alarm on it. I do know the Expedition came with factory keyless remote because it has the keypad on door. Here is a pic
