Getting ready to install a roof rack with some lights on my 2004 Expy. Has anyone found a good way of running the wires out to the roof or do I just man up and drill a hole?
Was considering using this from blueseas and just siliconing the hell out of it.
One easy test for that I found that work pretty well is get on the highway in the right lane near the center wall, lower your drivers rear window and hit the gas you'll hear nice and loud reflecting of the dividing wall. Get of the gas and it will quiet down substantially.
Inside the rear differential. If you go with a good set of timken bearing your looking at about $300 (including the axle bearing and all the seals) but it's a mother to get it done (just did mine last week) you'll have to remove the rear wheels, brakes and bearings. Pull the axles and drop the case.
Could be diff bearings, our trucks are notorious for them starting a horrible grinding hum that's gets louder the faster you go but quiets down a bit when you get of the gas.
Was thinking of doing the raptor swap, but after doing the money math it would be cheaper for me to just buy a new raptor and cutting the back of my truck and mating it to the raptor. Not to mention I'll get the ecoboost.
I went with the ranch quicklifts adjustables and I'm super happy with them, under $660 for all four. Got them set to the 3rd softest setting (it has 1-9) and truck rides very smooth. It also has a wireless adjustment system but I haven't gotten it, yet.

I would take the truck to get the tires balanced at a different place and have the coilovers checked. If your shocks are worn you'll start to see a bumpy wear pattern on your tires. I have had my truck on 35s for years without any tire shake but I did put new shocks at the same time as the lift.
I had a bunch of issues with the headlights not turning on and the power seats not working properly after a whole lot of troubleshooting and getting nowhere it ended up being the fuse panel was going bad replaced it and everything works great.
Got these on eBay for $176 for the pair as the stock ones kept getting fogged up with the hid's and they have been great.

Right out of that article:
"The new Expedition has the largest brakes in its class, and along with an antilock feature they incorporate a brake assist feature, which helps to reduce stopping distances by applying the brakes at full force in panic stops. (Testing has found that drivers tend to...
