    You can almost with a certainty know that your transmission fluid level was NOT checked during a multi-point inspection. When there is no traditional dip stick all they do is a cursory inspection for leaks.

    Use your modes. That gives you 4H. I tested mine, a 2018, less than a month ago. Had a 2003 before this one that had the knob with 4H on it. I prefer the 2003 configuration, but if you use one of the 4x4 modes it gives the same result.

    I had this diagnosis also several years ago on a 2003. Turned out it was broken bolts in the exhaust manifold. I got another 40,000 miles out of her.
