I have went through all kinds of threads and have been unable to find out if a 4th gen (2021 Expy Max XLT 4wd) will fit a 275/60r20 stock rim without rub, scrub, or trimming. The intention is to keep stock height.

I would change now and then every 3500k after. It is $40 piece of mind. Additionally, I would do an oil analysis once per year and send a sample to Blackstone. If you like what you see, you can make adjustments with frequency.
As previously mentioned in this thread, at the end of the day it comes down to appropriate tires for the conditions. 4WD systems and drive modes can assist but if your tires are not appropriate for the conditions, you are out of luck.
Although I appreciate the information in this thread. You guys really overthinking it. Just put it in 4A and use the appropriate mode for the conditions and send it.
