Has anyone gotten water in their door? I think it is normal for water to flow thru the door and out the covered hole on the bottom edge of the door. Well the holes got covered with pollen gunk. I was driving around and heard a sloshing noise. I pulled the "plug" and swoosh! Problem fixed...
I know the front fender badges on a Mustang have a guide hole that goes thru the sheet metal. I am afraid I may remove the FlexFuel and be left with a hole.
My Daughter ran her 2012 focus out of oil when she was away at college. (Ugh! And I am a car guy!) When she got home I changed the oil and only 1 quart came out. Ugh. Her car ran another 12,000 miles, never as smooth as it use to .... and two weeks ago the bearings went. Now she has a...
That wump wump sound. Hmmm. Maybe it is the airflow in the truck. 5 years ago Ford Corporate called me to discuss this sound. On the call they called it a "Helicopter Sound". They had no solution on how to stop it but only asked the question if I have ever experienced it before.
If it is th...
It pays homage back to the original GT 40 from the 60's that beat Enzo Ferrari at his own game. (24 Hours at Le Mans) In 1966 the GT 40 came in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th .... and 50 years later Ford went back to Le Mans and did it again.
For anyone that does not know the Ford Ferrari story read
It could be the transmission ... that was my experience when my Mountaineer hit$150K miles a few years back. Usually red warning lights are serious and yellow are just warnings

The fake noise on electric cars is being pushed by hearing impaired groups. It may become law. My friends Nissan Maximum has paddle shifters.... for a CVT?!?!?!
It takes the equivalent of driving 15,000 miles in pollution to build a Toyota Corolla. It takes the equivalent of driving 85,000 miles in pollution to build a Toyota Prius. So if you really care about saving the planet buy a stripped down Corolla. (it will make you a better driver as well...
I have it in my Ecobost 2.0 Fusion. It is stupid in my opinion. It sounds OK while driving and accelerating, but at idle it magnifies the turbo noise ... and not a good turbo noise at idle. It has been to the dealer and they have replaced the "sound tube" but it still does not sound good...
The hardest weight to move is "rotational mass". So he is basing it on a fact foundation ... but there are plenty of guys running big tires without any problems. Not like you are driving around in Big Foot.
Is the FlexFuel badge just on with 3M? I hate that badge. I know with my Mustang some of the badging has a hole in the sheet metal. I think it is put there to help the line gys put the badges on in the right spot Anyone remove their FlexFuel badge?
I cant speak to my Expedition, but the best upgrade I did to my Mustang was to go from Ford's rear end to an Eaton TruTrac. It is night and day. With the right tires on my Mustang I am even able to drive in snow. In my opinion TruTrac is the way to go!
