For me it comes down to if you are regularly going to use the 3rd row or not. If so, the standard length doesn't leave much room for stuff in the cargo area (especially 4 legged friends). If you will operate with the 3rd row folded most of the time it's not as big of an issue.
You want higher ground pressure in snow not lower. You get no traction in snow so you want the tire to break through the snow to whatever is underneath. That's why the ideal winter tire setup is narrower then stock.
the truck can handle deep snow fine. The stock highway biased tires not so much. I run dedicated snow tires in the winter but was caught by an early storm this past year with the stock 22's on and I was horrified how little traction they provided.
Seems to be a tsb for a lot of things. I certainly shouldn’t have to find them and bring them to my dealer to get things fixed (let alone the fact they are broken in the first place)
I'll be honest. This is my first new car ownership experience with a domestic of any kind and I've been less then impressed (18 302a Max).
The little stuff adds up. 3 mentions to the dealer about popping mirrors with no resolution until I gave them the actual TSB number then all the sudden it's...
because it's a shitty system. Can really compare it to b&o product from other models. For a Ford it may be great, but IMO it's just another let down in an $80k car.
I have the 22 inch wheels but run black 17's for a winter setup. It was more for aesthetics than anything but I just threw some black plastic caps on the stock lug nuts. I suppose there is the added benefit of protecting them in the winter (haven't had any problem with the chrome covers swelling...
Sorry, no pictures on the car. the brackets bolt to the holes on the inside of the stock rails. When I have it on the car I have a thule box on it, so wind noise is really driven by that. It's 8 simple 10mm bolts to take off, so I just take the whole box/crossbar/brackets off as one piece when I...
I fabbed up and powdercoated some simple brackets out of angle stock that let me clamp thule square bars directly to the stock rails. It's about as low profile as you can get.
There is no reason you couldn't run hubcentric spacers. I only needed 5mm, which are generally not available in hubcentric versions. That being said I have had no issues with the spacers I did use.
Not really. You have to get a little creative if you want to run the stock center caps with THOSE specific wheels (and I would imagine most other f150 17's) but the wheels themselves fit without issue.
I run F150 17's for a winter setup.

DAP is included in 302a (and 301a). I thought the special edition package required 301a, which would mean special editions have DAP as well. Most likely, the OP's is a 300 (unoptioned limited)
It was an option on the limiteds (I have one). The issue is, it's not a searchable option even on Fords inventory site. At least there you can pull up the window sticker to check, but with the aftermarket sites you have to look the pictures.
